Sadly, “Ghetto Cyrano” is sorely overlooked. It probably didn’t help that they released it on the same day as “In My Lifetime Vol. 1″. Nonetheless, Nov. 4. 1997 was a great day even if “…Vol. 1″ didn’t live up to the expectations that were placed upon it.

I have to agree with Yanaja its really sad becuase the roc had so much promoise but Big heads and Some other things that we will not talk about really messed them up. its the same as the Dipset So much promise and ego/money/BS really killed things. I hope the next label/family/money machine doesn’t do this cuz history was bound repeat it self if we don’t learn from this.

im not really into that “oh i sold drugs now sweat everything i say” type rap such as dipset ,the roc ect. im more in to the “bad boy i have skills and ill fuck shit up” type rap like red,meth,pun,some of jadakiss,little bit of nas,joel ortiez. but that hole “oh i sold keys type rap is such garbage and played out.i mean i dont no it just doesnt pick my fe fe if you no what im sneezeing.,.i mean when dident mean you have rap skills just by saying “oh i sold keys” oh wait i no 2003.ill pick almost any underground rapper with skillz and he will beat jay z,50 cent,dipset in any battle.

Ahh I love the corporate takeover freestyle. I play it as my first song every single day when I run on the treadmill. Matter of fact, it was listed as “Miss Info exclusive Jay-Z freestyle” or somethin like that on my ipod for like a year til I changed it haha.
