My twitter friend Stylerazzi tipped us off to the confusion going on in her hometown Columbus, Ohio…While here in NYC we’re all thinking how cool it’ll be for Jay-Z and Alicia Keys to open up the Yankees-Phillies World Series with a performance of “Empire State of Mind,” the folks in Columbus, are like…um, what about our Jay-Z concert?
Now local media outlets are reporting, that while Hov was considering doing both (!?) the Bronx stop and then a private jet to Columbus….that would obviously never work. So…
UPDATE: At 5:30 p.m. John Vlautin from Live Nation Worldwide, Inc., the company representing Jay-Z, told The Lantern that Jay-Z will be performing at the Schottenstein Center and that he will perform in New York on Thursday, depending on the weather.
“He will be there in Columbus,” Vlautin said. (source: The Lantern)
