The west coast collective known as Odd Future opened up Day 1 of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival yesterday afternoon. What was surprising checking Twitter, was to read that Tyler, The Creator surprised fans with a guest appearance from Pharrell Williams. In the past Tyler has mentioned that the lead member of N.E.R.D. was a person he’s looked up to. Yesterday, Tyler and Skateboard P shared the stage together to perform “Inside The Clouds”.

Says Al Lindstrom:

In the second part of our interview with Odd Future’s Manager Christian Clancy, we talk about the first time he met with Odd Future. He also talks about trying to help build careers for all of the members in the group, and his style of management. Finally we try and find an answer to the question that plagues everyone about Odd Future: “How will this group transition to commercial success?”.
