Odd Future (OFWGKTA) Perform On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Live

One group that’s caught the attention of many on the internet and in the industry has been Odd Future or OFWGKTA, which stands for Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. The crew from L.A. led by Tyler, The Creator & Hodgy made their late night television debut last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to perform “Sandwitches” with The Roots backing them. Seriously, I think one of the show’s guests, Brandon T. Jackson was a bit caught off guard and startled watching the high energetic performance with both guys jumping and running all around the set.
Tyler also recently signed a one record deal with XL Recordings.
Props to Yardie
After the jum you can catch their performance on Tuesday night at Santos Party House, plus their latest visual for “Yonkers”….

Horrocore rehashes. These niggas are not hot at all. First Lil B now this. SMH. I’m starting to believe these kids just gave up on making good music with good lyrics. Now it’s about who the newest weirdo is or being as oddball and vile as you can be.

LOL! And getting kids to say anything. Their fans all hate Steve Harvey too…for some reason.

Along with Lil’ B, another act with a devoted following. Not really my cup of tea but they’re getting everyone’s attention.

What? Wu Tang? Seriously? They are nothing like Wu Tang. Just because it’s a gang of niggas don’t mean they are like Wu Tang.

not horrorcore … more like black emo nerd rap. tyler got a nice flow at times. they’re less gimmicky than gravediggers were; they’re not trying to be anything they’re not

The lazy thing to do with something new and fresh is to categorize it as something old so you can box it in. Although I believe that movements happen in cycles I don’t think these kids are intentionally biting old rap genres. They don’t seem like a gimmick to me and they’re actually nice with the rhymes. Good shit. That stage will never be the same.
