Notorious B.I.G.’s memorial day continues (Previously: “Still Always Miss Big Poppa: with Clark Kent, Maino, etc”)
Every March 9th, my coworker Mr. Cee dedicates his legendary throwback at noon mix on Hot97 to his friend Christopher Wallace. This year he played some of his favorite Biggie classics but also kept his ad-libs brief. Thanks to Drew for compiling the audio into one file and deleting the commercials. Also, some of my favorite interview clips on the web comes from my boys from France, GasFace Magazine. This time they talked to Method Man about when he and Biggie worked on the only rap collabo on Big’s Ready to Die album, “The What.” One of my favorite songs ever! Imagine if Meth and Big had recorded the audio of them riffing back and forth, playing the “torture” game in the studio? LOL @ Meth’s burp too…
