uh…. this can’t be a good feeling. In the book, Mommy Dearest says Em is manic depressive, out of touch with reality, and that his “tales” have caused her to be spat on by fans and robbed on 8-Mile Road. (backstory: Eminem was sued for defamation by his mom over his less-than-flattering lyrics, but then more recently, Em paid for her extensive medical bills when she was diagnosed with cancer.)
Add to that, this: “A family friend tells America’s Life & Style magazine, “[Debbie Nelson] just hopes he’ll read it and realise how loved he is.”

Well I have mixed feelings about this. ‘Cause it isn’t like he didn’t make money off of talking about her so what’s the difference? Now she is the mother, so obviously she should still do the right thing in all cases. However, his songs do come off really sincere, so maybe his mom really is evil? I imagine it is very lonely to be eminem in either case. I hope he has some positives in his life as well.

wtf, who cares anymore? even here in Detroit, no one even cares about his mother and ‘the record being set straight’ you’re about 3 years too late, this should have came out when the movie dropped.
and lol@ being robbed on 8mile. its not because of who you are, its because you shouldnt be walking around on 8mile. thats like a white woman wandering around a Compton hood or seen hanging out a in a Queens project.

when was the last time em was in the news?? I can’t even remember its been that long, so in my mind i can’t help but think of course this type of thing benefits him!! trust me. he’s done pretty well so far off the back of negative statements made about him from his mom cos every kid out there goes thru similar levels of embarrassment.. its just another way for his fans (most of which are 12 year old white kids who hate their parents) to relate to him. I’m not saying he’s set this up on purpose but it definitely doesn’t hurt when we all know he has new material coming next year.. and his mom decides to do some thing annoying.. again..
