Nicki Minaj is returning to the VMAs. The Young Money Queen was announced as a performer on Thursday (Aug. 9). The news comes one day after Post Malone and Travi$ Scott were added to this year’s Video Music Awards lineup. Minaj, whose new album Queen arrives next Friday (Aug. 17), joins Ariana Grande, Logic with Ryan Tedder, and Shawn Mendes as performers.

Cardi B leads the VMAs with 10 nominations, while Jennifer Lopez will be honored by MTV with the Video Vanguard award. The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards takes place on August 20, live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
