Above you can catch a behind the scenes look at Nicki Minaj’s photoshoot for the the new edition of T Magazine. In the feature Nicki talks her personal style, music, her MTV My Time Now documentary, female emcees and at one point touches on Lil’ Kim.
That brings up an interesting point because I would be pretty remiss not to mention your spat with Lil’ Kim. When she badmouths you and others doesn’t that just make it even harder for female rappers?
It does, it does. But the thing that I want to promote is that if you see someone doing their thing, give them their props. We all have it hard and face the same challenges as female emcees. Show some mutual love and respect for each other so that it doesn’t get nasty. And she can be a nasty character.

Maybe I would care if someone actually had something to do with her that dissed her, rather than just being mad that she’s the female rapper that’s selling. Fact: Kim just got in her ass, deep in her ass. Now Nicki is tryin to take the high road. I read that as shook, I read that as a seriously delayed response. Will Kim comeback based on this? No not likely but Nicki started this mess and needs to address it. Right now she’s not looking good after that Kim diss. I’m not a major fan of either one but I love a good MC beef

I agree with most of yall. Nicki got bit now she doesn’t want any problems. Hip Hop has always been about competition but if you don’t want problems, watch what you say. She always talks about how she is eating or killing these “rap bitches”, but made a song about Kim and backed out. #FAIL. Apologize or let it go Nicki. You’re on fire but let’s not be delusional and act like you didn’t have a play in this.

Bottom line is she got scared…if Kims diss song had been wack then she would have come back not a full track but a slick verse on a feature but coz Kim eat her and the rest of young money alive they advised her to play humble…dont blame her she has got a good thing going with the album sales, hype and all those TV appearances, so why fuck it up battling a emcee greater than you. She just got in the game and she will easily be taken out. From what I have heard Kim and Eve are coming out with albums in 2011, this will test Nicki real skills since see got no competition right now.

There’s a youtube video of nicki freestyling on the steps (there were 2 other girls on the steps with her) she was dissing the other female mcs hard. Here is one of the lines: how the fuck you in the game 10yrs strong and yall bitches still can’t write you own songs. Ppl who the fuck is she talking about? Eve doesn’t have that kind of time in the game and neither does remy. Now that kim got in her fake ass, she wants to fall back. She must have forgotten that kim is still in the industry and she still has a fan base. Ok kim doesn’t have any new material, but her fans still love her for what she did. Nicki could never erase that. Now all of a sudden she wants to play the UNITY game. This TRICK shouldve thought about that when she was being disrespectful to the other femcees that opened the door for her. How did Nicki start this? In an interview she explained how this whole beef started. AND there’s pictures which back up her story. If Lil Kim had a problem with Nicki why the fuck did she not say when Nicki asked her instead of being a liddle cunt and being all ‘it’s good. We good’ why didn’t she say! There really ain’t no need for it. And Nicki’s stated plenty of times that ‘Roman’s Revenge’ isn’t even about frigging Kim! She don’t got time to be wasting on bum bitches like her! She was doing productive shit like getting her album to debut at #2 and breaking all these records and ish. I think Kim just needs to stop with all this ‘I’m the Queen’ shit because eventually the Queen will die and someone new will come along! Get the fuck over it darling! And before anyone says I’m a hater, don’t get it twisted. I used to go hard for Kim! I grew up with her music! But when I see someone being so damn dumb and not accepting new talent then of course I’ma lose respect for her. Like I said before about the freestyles that she used to do, she would call the other female mcs “old bitches” . Just check the come up dvd videos that she used to do. Back then Nicki had more balls (or wish) and came at Kim directly. Kim didn’t even know a Nicki. She is phony as hell, and constanntly contradicts herself. One minute she is all about femcee empowerment (speech she gave) then she releases a diss record 3 months after Kim called her out. Speaking of Nicki interviews please name one when she does not contradict herself. I can name many where she does. 1. I’m not bisexual now she just release an interview with NY Times taking it back. 2. I’m for female empowerment then she releases a diss track. 3. Says the track was not about Kim, retracts that and says it is. and the list goes on. I respect the girl for her hustle but A. she is not humble and do not respect HIP/HOP. B. She is fake (and I’m not even referencing her body) and C. She has no REAL lyrical content and full of gimmicks. Kim is not hating on her, she giving Nicki what Nicki wanted. She told her to put it on wax and Kim did just that (Tore a hole in the silicone). Sraight 16 bars with no gimmicks or extra distractions to deter you away from the fact she can’t rap. This interview speaks nothing but she SHOOK, and her camp shut her down because that is (like Birdman said) is not what YM is about. Nicki started this beef with kim a long time ago, with her mixtapes, and her come up dvd videos. She was always taking shots at kim, so yes I know my history when it comes to this fake chick. She used kim to try to get more sales, but it backfired on her. Kim ripped her a new asshole, and she KNOWS she can’t fuck with kim lyrically, so she’s playing the victim role again. I know kim is NOT hating on her, she had to show that bitch who the real QUEEN BEE is. Another point you confirmed is that she lies constantly. First about being bisexual, I think she wants to throw ppl off so they won’t know that she is living with her man SB (hypeman) out in LA . On the matter of Kim being “fake,” She may be a lot of thing and have a fake nose, breast, lips, hair but when it comes to what comes out her mouth I doubt anything the girl say is “fake.” She obviously has no problem saying how she feel to anybody about anything. MTV’s doc Nicki Minaj: My Time Now was directed by Michael John Warren. The film is great and strangely compelling. He was also the director for Drake: Better Than Good Enough and Jay-Z’s Fade To Black (a classic). Found his site – mjwfilms.com. In case anyone is curious who is behind the camera.
