The All-Star festivities began on Friday night with the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center. The highlight of the game easily went to J. Cole who caught a nice pass mid-air for a slam dunk. Later on, he caught Common sleeping blocking his shot towards the end of the game. J. Cole’s East team beat Common’s West team 86-54. The highlight from NBA All-Star Saturday Night is always the Slam Dunk Contest. While in recent years it hasn’t lived up to the hype, Diddy planned to change that last night. Opening up the competition Puff joined Chase Budinger of the Houston Rockets, dressed as Billy Hoyle from “White Man Can’t Jump,” to sky over him for a perfect score. Sadly that dunk wasn’t enough as Jeremy Evans from the Utah Jazz won.
