Nicki Minaj turns down the playful, animated raps we’ve come to love on the reflective “Freedom,” a new song off her upcoming Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up album. The smooth cut finds the Queens MC thinking about her current success, celebrity, and fame. At moments Minaj reminds those of the goals and lane she’s paved, but uses most of the 4:42-minute song to give praise to those such as Lil’ Wayne.
Her new album arrives November 19th and will feature appearances from Lil’ Wayne, Cassie, Ciara, and Tyga. Pre-order your copy now on iTunes.
Listen to “Freedom” and watch Nicki Minaj get interviewed by fans in the U.K. on Tim Westwood’s show after the jump….
