The Lakers guard dished out quite a few quotes during his recent chat with Billboard (like when he recalled first hearing Kanye West’s “Facts“: “[My teammates] sent me the SoundCloud [link] and I was like, ‘Aw, it’s over. I’m the man now'”), but none has generated more meme reactions than when he talked about his fiancée Iggy Azalea‘s upcoming album.

Your fiancee, Iggy Azalea, has been hard at work on the new album. What does Digital Distortion sound like so far?

Aw man, it’s gonna be the best album of 2016. I got my Swaggy P feature on it so that’s why it’s gon’ blow up. [Laughs] I see how hard she be in the studio and I heard a couple songs. Couple surprises and a lot of features on there. It’ll be dope.

Had those words come from anyone else’s mouth, it’d be a wrap for their mentions. But then again, had Nick said anything different, he would have probably determined his own fate to the dog house. Hopefully his features are better than his buzzer beaters, though.
