Nice try but this ain’t quite it…

I like Jack White’s track, but Alicia Keys + Jack White is like mixing Nutella and Everclear.
“Another Way to Die”
licia Keys ft Jack White - Anotha Way To Die.mp3
Still can’t wait to Quantum though. Just rewatched Casino Royale….straight flushes, ball-bashing, and dreamy Daniel Craig.
my favorite Bond songs after the jump….
Genius cheese: Duran x 2 “View to a Kill”
love this Sheena Easton theme song, “For Your Eyes Only”….almost as much as I love the fact that this white woman was named Sheena.
classic classic Sir Paul “Live n Let Die”….I never realized it got so…ethnic in the middle, lol
the ultimate Bond girl: Shirley Bassey “Diamonds are Forever” and “Goldfinger” (“He loves only gold….”)
The oversexed imagery is hilarious: Tom Jones “Thunderball”

oops! I forgot to add thanks to Smoking Section (www.smokingsection.uproxx.com) for the song…..
I’d add it to the post but then I’d have to redo those annoying youtube embeds….
does anyone know how to fix it so that video embeds don’t automatically change anytime you try to edit a post?
ugh

Inf,
You left out Shirley Manson from Garbage’s “The World Is Not Enough…” I know it’s one of the worst Bond films to date, but that song is the ONLY thing that made that movie credible. It was quintissential Bond music and she really had the perfect style to it. Now she’s on that Fox show Fringe… oddly. Didnt know she acted.

You can use this plugin: http://www.jovelstefan.de/embedded-video/
All you have to do is write [youtube code nolink] when you have to add the video.
So for this link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05wFR4siDtk
the outcome would look like this [youtube 05wFR4siDtk nolink]

That’s a nice list of Bond-songs(although I don’t care much for Thunderball), but you forgot “You Only Live Twice”! Great song, deserves a mention.

The song sounds tight to me. I really like it.
I think I’m the only person who liked the Tomorrow Never Dies theme. The movie was…meh, but damn that song moved me. I love Creig(sp?) as Bond, he rose to my favorite. I grew up with Pierce and loved Connery and Moore’s swag, but Dan Creig has the complete package.

“Alicia Keys + Jack White is like mixing Nutella and Everclear.”
HAHAHA. Yeah, it does sound a bit awkward. Alicia keys vocals = too much sould (is that possible) for such a rough sounding track.

JACK WHITE SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS SOLO…MOST DEFINITELY
ALICIA IS NOT A ROCK STAR…HER VOICE DOESN’T FIT THE MUSIC

Notorious Box hit it on the head…Shirley Manson did her thing on that song…made me want to see the movie and I’m really not a Bond fan

I’m with Sport – Live and Let Die was Bondsploitation at it’s finest.
And the game for the Commodore 64 was probably one of the best of the time.
Yep. I’m old.

Info- come on. “The spy who loved me” is one of the best. “Nobody does it better” -Carly Simon

I’m still wondering why Kanye hasn’t used this as a sample. Someone let him know.

“Live And Let Die” by Paul McCartney and Wings is the G.O.A.T. Bond theme followed by Shirley Bassey’s “Goldfinger”. I always loved Lulu’s “The Man With The Golden Gun” for some odd reason. Oh yeah, the most overlooked piece of Bond music ever? “007″ by The John Barry Orchestra.
Dart Adams, Film and music nerd^ You ain’t know?
One.

Yeah man, greatest bond music is the ORIGINAL 007 theme. Every remake they do can’t live up to the swag of the original and it was done in the early 60’s…
