News: Earl Sweatshirt Talks To The New Yorker, Kanye’s New Chick?, Lil B’s ‘B*tch Mob’ Mixtape

Odd Future’s lost member and possibly most sought after, Earl Sweatshirt, finally gave his fans a few words. The New Yorker just did a full length feature on the kid and were able to ask him about how he feels about the amount of love he receives, among other topics. Backtracking a bit, you might remember Complex did some research and believes Earl is away at a Samoan boarding school. In The New Yorker’s free online excerpt of their Earl article, they do not state if they’ve come to the same conclusion (I’m sure it’ll turn up online soon). They also spoke to his mother and found out his father is a one of South Africa’s most celebrated poets.
Earl Sweatshirt on the “Free Earl” movement:
“Initially I was really pleased that all these people claimed that they wanted me released because I thought that translated into ‘they care,’” Earl wrote. “So time progresses and the fan base gets bigger and the ‘Free Earl’ chants get louder but now with the ‘Free Earl’ chants come a barely indirect ‘Fuck Earl’s Mom’ and in the blink of an eye my worry changes from ‘will there still be this hype when I get back’ to ‘Oh shit I just inspired a widespread movement of people who are dedicated to the downfall of my mom.’”
Earl added, “The only thing I need as of right now is space. I’ve still got work to do and don’t need the additional stress of fearing for my family’s physical well-being. Space means no more ‘Free Earl.’”
When Sanneh asked about his return, he wrote back, “I miss home. I don’t have any definite date though. Even if I did I don’t know if I’d tell you. You’ll hear from me without a doubt when I’m ready.”
after the jump, see who Kanye was tonguing down in Paris and listen to Lil B’s new mixtape…
Over the weekend, paps caught Kanye smooching down a new girl on the balcony of his hotel in Paris…

Lol, Kanye making that face. He knows what he is doing. Other wise he would’nt be out on the balcony with his lady friend showing off.
As for Lil B, I do respect the fact he made a fan base off his weird behavior and rap creativity. I respect Lil b because Diddy bought him out on his tour. So, he could perform for the crowd. It was SWAG!
Diddy will no doubt make a song with lil b. The moment that happens you can kiss Diddy’s music career good bye.
But Lil b as to ready him self for the day. When people stop returning his calls. Because we all know that day is coming soon.

So a parent put a stop to her son’s antics by sending him away to a reform school? Swag!
Never heard any of Earl Sweatshirt/ Odd Future’s songs but from the quotes on Complex, Fader & NY Times, it seems as if his mom did the right thing. She’s not accepting disrespect for fame. Good job mom!
This guy Tyler needs to chill, and Earl needs new friends. “Tyler created graphics with that slogan; one flyer for a show had his name crossed out and the words “Will not be there due to mom.” (NY Times)
I don’t care what a parent does, as my friend you shouldn’t try to dish an ounce of disrespect their way. This lady doesn’t even want her name out there because of the fear of what these new ages fanatics might do. And Earl backs it up in the Times interview as well. SMH
I’m curious to see if he’ll continue with OF when he gets home..
