Joey and his Pro-Era crew definitely deserve a listen from you. If there was like a 2012 Rawkus Records for the young bucks, Bada$$ would have the lead singles off Soundbombing Vol. 1 and so on. The main thing I like about this kid is that his rhymes are at the forefront of why he’s getting attention. It ain’t about his swag or designer fashion. Check out Joey Bada$$’s 1999 mixtape below!

that’s what i was thinking. throwing shots out. i guess thats what hot 97 affiliated ppl do. it’s too hard for them to say they just like someone, they have to throw someone else under the bus while they are at it.
