Tony Yayo – “Obama” Official Music Video – Directed By 50 Cent from Thisis50 on Vimeo.
Yayo is so entertaining to me. Like Birdman. He’s just a character, lol. And this hook alone for this song is so absurd its hilarious. Is it kind of offensive too? Well, im sure Yayo wouldn’t have it any other way.

you gotta respect YAYO, lyrically he’s not upto much, but he knows his position and plays it well, never complains either, like Game/Buck did, going indie was the best thing him and banks ever did, 50 should follow suit. im likin the direction g unit are heading in 2010

Good post (minus the grapes shit, lol) This is what I try to explain to ppl….Hip-Hop is still a realtively new genre compared to every other and this is an adjustment stage we’re going thru right now, where we have to realize that it has to divided into sub genre’s at this point. There are different types of Hip-Hop for different types of ppl now. So there is no need for hard core, street rappers to dis Soulja Boy b/c that is Hip Hop, just not their Hip Hop. Leave that for the kids, The 30 & older crowd has their own style of Hip Hop that they like and that’s cool too. I mean it’s just like any other genre, 35 yr. old
Country heads aint listening to Carrie Underwood they prolly still listening to Shania Twain, feel me, or like traditional R&B listeners aint checkin for….damn is there a R&B genre anymore???? I can’t think of a comparison…..lol, but you get my drift. As far as Yayo is concerned he aint talking to the kids that Drake is targeting. Once we all realize where we are as a genre I think all the hate and comparisons will stop and everybody can live & eat. Don’ throw away our older artists, support who you like and stop letting the radio tell you who’s hot.
Peace

Why do people in the industry have to be so diplomatic. Yayo at one time was okay, but now that niggas just depressing. No amount of being a character so make up for his talent. (Kudos for Birdman.)

damn, i know this guy is 50′s best friend but does he have to sign off on all the bullshit music Yayo puts out? I mean shit, be a good friend and either write the niggas hooks for him like he did Game or make Yayo step his game up so he doesn’t embarrass himself with such wackness
