Love Sade… love the song.. love the video… I’ll be buying it on the first day. She looks great still… The album will definitely do great world wide… U.S. Sales probably 350k-400k first week… similar to Maxwell and Whitney Houston.. talent is actually prevailing sales wise these days (some times)… I just hope the whole album is organic and no compromising..

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Sade is not for everyone. That’s ok. BUT, millions of people really like her music. She has been VERY successful in the music business for 25 years! Not many artists can stay at the top of their game that long. She is multiplatinum in at least 27 countries and has numerous awards. Her record sales and staying power speak volumes! Not everyone will like her style. But millions of people do. I’m one of them. No one looks or sounds like Sade. Enough said.

“25 years??” That’s a VERY misleading statement. 4 albums between 84′ and 92. Then an album in 2000 and now one in 2010? Come on man. Be real? Don’t just make such crazy statements. If she had been doing music for 25 YEARS alot more people would care alot less about her, but like a few other artists she has MASTERED the art of “little is more.” Again I say, she’s JUST NOT that talented, but she has somehow amassed this weird freaky CULT-LIKE following. And multiplatinum. Yes. But ONLY if you consider other countries like you did. She failed to appeal enough to THIS country. In a typical argument, each person tries to prove themselves right and the other person wrong. Of course, we all know what happens in the end — each person only ends up more entrenched in their views, regardless of who delivers the most dominant argument.
In this case the one with the dominant argument would obviously be me considering the fact that I made tangible intelligent statements followed by facts and strongly supported opinions, while you attacked points that I clearly proved to be incorrect and therefore irrelevant. Also you proved to be completely incapable of comprehending basic english. Examples: I’m 26, but instead of basing an argument around that you would rather fabricate that I’m a “teenie?” lol. Or I say precisely why Soulja boi is brilliant and you say he isn’t, but have no explanation to support it? Or you redirect the argument towards weak conjecture that I’m some ignorant Soulja Boi fan when not only is that not the point of this exchange, but completely untrue?
An argument cannot be won with resistance. You will only strengthen the other person’s resolve. At best you will both leave in a state of stubbornness, but little communication will have actually occurred.

I heard some of the tracks from the new Sade album and I don’t like them. This album is the worst album she’s released. I wish there was some way I could stop her, and redo the album. I am so disappointed and let down.I have to find another artist to obsess over.
