New Video: Rihanna “Wait Your Turn” (Updated)

well, the wait is ova, but you still gotta click over to RihannaNow.com in order to watch this video for Rihanna’s “Wait Your Turn” song. Honestly, it doesn’t seem like a song at all, more like an extended intro or interlude. Or even a promo….which is probably why the video is also a single shot, easy-breezy, low-tech clip.
Verdict: this is not a music video…this is a music commercial. But as soon as my tech-savvy holmes rip the footage, I’ll add it to this post. Salute, Young from Onsmash! Take that, conglomerates!

3:56 song that feels like an extended commercial= z100, 103.5, 102.7, top 40 countdown music….get use to it she’s not an r&b artist, she’s pop/alternative w/a little hip hop….jersey shore mixed with some evanescence & hot97

i hadn’t heard this was a commercial but thats what they should call if they are going to pull whack ish off! her swag is on a trillion but why rush the album why r they doing promo work 3 weeks b4 the album drops and releasing singles every 3 to 4 days!? no one finds this strange amerie is dropping an album today with def jam and all the promo is to rihanna she is dropping her single on itunes and the video today like wtf is going over there!? and i bet the push the album back so that it comes out a week or so b4 cb’s! and she is using controversy to sell this album not music (the church scene half naked on the angel [madonna])

Totally agree this is like a promo music commercial or something. I don’t like it cause it don’t look like her persona it looks like Jay-z DOA wannabe. Oh and was that an angel wing she was leaning on? Just the like the comment earlier this crap is corny. I love RiRi but at least Chris Brown made an actual video even if the song can become annoying at times. Wish her the most success though.

While the song grows on me the more I hear it (I like the singing part the best) this video ehh not so much. I do love the coat/jacket she is wearing in the beg. Cant wait on the Russian Roulette video

This is not a commercial. this was supposed to be the 2nd single or co-first single but the reviews have not been good. So as the video was already shot, Def Jam/L A Reid switched it up and said it’s a promo and that ’so hard’f/Jezzy will be the 2nd single.
This is a mess and that is what you get for rushing a release and pushing a fake image. Rihanna swagger jacking young Mary J, Aaliyah and ain’t working for me and why is she grabbing her crotch while leaning on an angel.

Ha @kim I thought I was the only one feeling a young Mary J vibe from the vid. I personally think she should have taken some more time away from the spotlight before she came back out. Even though its been what…2 yrs since GGGB you see a picture of her everyday so oversaturation+so-so music is not a good look.

Well Russian Roulette is #2 on itunes and Rated R is #6 in pre orders. RR will probably jump from #100 on billboard to #1 the biggest, and fastest jump in billboard history. She doing something right.
