New Video: Rick Ross Feat. Drake & French Montana “Stay Schemin”
Posted by Mr.North under videos[57] Comments
Rick Ross is making the release of Rich Forever a big event. With his new mixtape, we also get the first video in support of this project as Drake and French Montana join in on “Stay Schemin.”
Drake throwing shots at Common? Seems so.
“I just ask that when you see me, you speak up ni–a that’s all/Don’t be ducking like you never wanted nothing. It’s feeling like rap changed, it was a time it was rugged/Back when if a ni–a reached it was for the weapon, nowadays ni–as reach just to sell they record.”

The entire mixtape is crazy. He needs to say common’s name if he is going at him…common sat there for everyone to hear it was a diss to drake. No questions asked.

Drake must not have been around when Common and Cube had beef. Drake will end up making family movies if he keeps it up.

Also, another dumb Drake contradiction. He wants Common to say his name, but he won’t say Common’s name? Just like you felt bad for the girl who got your name tatted on your forehead on some stan sh*t, but you went and tatted Aaliyah on your back on some stan sh*t?

Word…just like the tough talk/vide to “Headlines”. Like either rappers are fronting like they’re gangsters, or gangsters frontin’ like they’re rappers or Canadian clowns being…Canadian clowns. The kid makes good “music” but come on boy. You looking stupid talking anything remotely tough. It’s laughable.

Yea Common gotta give em the fair one now, it’s on! If they don’t eventually fight while in the same room…they are BOTH PUSSY! And more so Common, reason I say that…he started it! If u call a nigga a hoe ass nigga I’m expecting u to pull his skirt up when y’all face to face!
No guns, no entourage (that’s Drake-specific)…they just gotta square up!

I don’t want to sound like a hater — but does anyone know why French Montana is famous? He’s not a good rapper, he garbles his words, and his music has been sub-par. He’s no doubt a strong soldier, as he proved in the Max B vs Jim Jones situation. But as a rapper? Does he deserve to be in the same record as Drake? Listen to Drake and then listen to French… see the difference?
Seriously folks — what was is it that got French Montana so much hype and his deal? Is he a pawn against 50Cent? Is that why Rozay and Diddy are interested in him? But there’s nothing he’s done that suggests to me that he’s gone against 50. In fact, Max B was being considered for G-Unit…
What’s going on b?

I said the same thing French is amongst the worse rappers in history. You from N.Y but flow like you from Atlanta? and to make matters worse he is coining Max B style of music. I said this on several occasions I enjoyed mixtapes with him and max-b on it cause I thought it was a unique sound accompanied with max b as the maestro; now it just sounds terrible. Guess you cant see what someone is capable of till they are isolated.

I’m pretty sure the opening lines from Drake are at Pusha T because Drake mentions a “team” (G.O.O.D. Music?), I think the line slept on the most is directed at Common, “shorty wanna tell me secrets about a rap nigga….(Serena about Common?)”

Drake has really gotten a lil tough huh?!??!! both are neither gangsta rappers but Common does come off a lil harder than Drake. Drake is hard by association and YM is not really goons either. and since when do rappers actually say ‘who’ exactly they are speaking of? Really dude REALLY? ever other record i hear nowadays has some mention of soft records, will Drake go after them all ‘subliminally’?

Ok so Drake is definitely addressing the Common thing and I love it. At a time when everybody wants to talk about how soft Drake is for singing, its great to see him competing.
I think Drake addressed the situation appropriately….. I don’t necessarily think we need beef in Hip Hop but we definitely need more competition because competition brings the best out in ppl.
This is Hip Hop!

Problem is, Drakes talking liek he wants beef now. You talking about back in the day folk used to reach for weapons? Really when you were on Degrassi?
Young MOney has bought in it this thing that their cash flow legitimizes the gang affiliations/streets they have those same “goons” would jump ship if some came to them with better offer. You talking that talk and I hope it doesn’t come but to haunt him.
Never the less I’m looking forward to a full Common reply track.

When Drake said “back in the day folk used to reach for weapons” he was talking about how beef was before, not his life but jus beef in general “back in the day”. I get what u are saying tho.. I don’t think Drizzy is trying to rely on his YM fam to get the job done though.
I am just glad to see a response from him… Lookin fwd to Common throwing back some jabs too

True talk… He was speaking on a time when if you faked like Fat Willie, a nigga like 2Pac would dig in that ass. A time when LYIN and Faking wouldn’t be accepted.. The time he talking bout was when labels couldn’t create rappers. A time when realism meant something, a time when hiphop had heart/ soul, now it’s controlled by outsiders.. It has become a toy for rich kids who never wanna grow up.
Just think those days in hiphop, Williams Roberts wouldn’t even exist, cause his fairytales n lies wouldn’t be accepted
January 7th, 2012 at 5:40 pm
Nah but real talk Drake aint addressing Common…I specifically remember Aubry saying “Dis me, you’ll NEVER hear a reply for it”.
Which was basically this bird coming out the gate knowing he was gonna get dissed but trying to cover his bird tracks BUT peep it Aubry NO MAN IS ABOVE THE CULTURE so now you must battle and show ya true feathers..I mean colors.

THis CD has no good songs like his other MixCD did before the studio album. Beats were Ok, other MixCD Beats were banging.. Plus the other MixCD had real club dance cuts, this one don’t. Now listening to him, I start thinking about him as a person. Not a good look, He is like a lyin perpetrator dude you meet in the club wearing his best outfit, driving his moms car. Once the lights come on and the drinks wear off, RUN GIRL, RUN, RUN, RUN.
His greatest accomplishment is he brought trickin back in style. He do make those hard working man spend too feel like they really special.

Every artist on this CD outshines the host. Ross has lost his IT factor. I agree with the statement earlier “Without the 50 factor, without the underdog factor, Ross is a boring MC”. I would love to hear him dig into his real life and pull from that crate, but his falsehoods kinda makes that impossible. I did enjoy the guess appearances. Just wish Meek, Pill or Wale would have been in place of Ross verses. It’s a new day in hiphop, the real is back. You can hear the realness in Meeks and Wale verses. I can’t hear nothing in Ross verse except” Come on stop Lying”..

Just not the same feel as the other mixtape. It is good free music, great guess spots. Drake showed skills, but Rozay was flat, boring and his premise is all false. You can only hear faking so much before it becomes just sickening.

Rozay Peaked on his last mixtape CD. This is not the same quality of work. Seems he tried to hide that with all the help he got. Who cares about all your money when we know you straight lying bout everything. This would’ve rocked if Mills was the featured artist and not Rozay.
