I applaud the creator for getting those obviously visually pleasing women to do this short. But, as stand alone production, it was horrible. The editor should be molly-whopped for the epileptic transitions. Of course we knew what was going on, but too many transitions leaves a feeling of emptiness resulting in disinterest. Plus the track didn’t go well with the short….. IMHO.

as a male, i will never object to images of breasts and ass. its against my evolutionary nature.

that being said, this song was so visually written/produced that i always had a distinct image of rae “behind the pot” spitting this stream of consciousness after he yelled at Langston to go to the store and get the baking soda, and this vid has sort of tainted that mental picture. its like when they made the harry potter movies, its great but at the same time it takes away from everything kids imagined it would look like. and the naked women bagging up coke has been so overdone..

still a great song and a great video tho

Love the live versions that the Roots do with the rap artists that come on the show. They should put out a collaboration album with live versions of songs with MCs.
