Cole drops the emotional storytelling visual for “Daddy’s Little Girl.” The song, will appear as a bonus cut off Cole World: The Sideline Story which drops on Tuesday. Fans in the New York City area can still purchase tickets for J. Cole’s A Dollar And A Dream concert at Roseland Ballroom later this evening by visiting the venue’s box office at noon.

surprisingly enough i like this WAYYY better than his other two singles. I understand its needed for radio play, but this displays J. Cole in his fullest essence.

Just like almost every Cole’s song… a missed opportunity for doing something great. He the gave give’s him time, I do think he will figure it out. The Talent is obviously there. He is just missing finesse.

Let me just say i agree with half of what you said.Depends on the song/artist though, takes a fine craftsman to draw that line with concept/catchy and still be relatable enough to translate into the market. i think he was aiming for “watch man” to be a conceptual hot song but it was too disorganized. That’s what makes Kanye West so great in my opinion; he’ll simplify it enough to be catchy but organize it enough to be conceptual. if you get what i mean
