Having Slaughter House there was a GREAT LOOK!! I can imagine what that next album is going to sound like if he opens up the process creatively.. Jay-Z cant do it… I wish 50 was there but otherwise we’ll see..
Loved seeing Joe Budden in the video! Very good look for Jumpoff!
I wonder where 50 stands with all of this.. His album has been pushed back more times than The Carter 2!

1) God that video player is annoying.
2) Em murders every track. Dude’s lyrical skill cannot be matched in the mainstream or underground.

I didn’t really pay attention to the “hand motions” on first watch. Then, I rewatched the video. Pure. Comedy. lol
You could play a drinking game with this video. haha
Anyway, I was never a fan of the song myself and this video added nothing to the experience for me.
Yes, Em has the best verse but that’s not saying much because even he has been better elsewhere.

this is EASILY the dopest verse ive heard em spit in a very very long time. his double time flow over the beat was redic. and his whole verse was subliminals (which is def not something hes known for doin at all, if hes gona go @ some1 hes def gonna go all out) towards the whole mariah/gucci song…i liked the route he took this time around n like i said CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY flow

Love Kanye’s ad lib: ever, ever Mr. West is in the building. Ain’t no question who about to kill them.
Loved the video. Em with the lyrical Secret Service: Slaughter House; Drake looking like he hadn’t slept; Kanye with not one, not two, but three! THREE! spotlights and pyro out the ass; and even Wayne chilling in the haze smoke with Baby was a nice touch.
I’ve got no hate other than Wayne’s wack-ass verse. Reminds me of “You Ain’t Got Nothing” on Carter 3 where Fab ate him. Only it happens three times on this.

Woooo@Em with slaugtherhouse repping in the background. I haven’t seen Em and Nickle in the same video in years.
However the video did kind of sucked and im a king james fan. But seeing lil wayne smoking with a bunch of girls around him and spit a boring ass verse did nothing for me. And kayne over spitting his first couple bars trying to keep up wasn’t worth it.
Drake did his thing though
I just realize if Em and Interscope sign slaugtherhouse as a group. This would be a straight smack in the face to Joell Otriz. Cause he was just sign to interscope and aftermath in 08. And they dropped him for being marketble enough. Now you sign him as a group member though? SMH!
Whatever works though this industry couldn’t be any more shadier at this time

umm, maybe its just me, but did Em just throw a subliminal diss at his fellow Mcs ???
considering that everyone is rapping so slow and Em is double and triple timin on the beat, makes you wonder, no?
“he can make them look like bozos,
he is wondering if he should spit this slow,
fuck no, go for broke”
…but then again, why jump on a song with a bunch of Mcs that you consider bozos on the mic, right ?

not any any MC he threw those diss at Gucci Man. Check his rhyme from Mariah Careys Obsessed. Gucci man talked about Pinocchio. Em responded Pinocchio’s stuck his nose back in the game. In an interview Gucci said he only did Obsessed for the money. Em told him fuck it go for broke. Then Em asks him how it feels to get pay back .

Don, I have to agree with your 1st assessment 100% B. I mean look at it this way: right now in many cats is eyes, Kanye, Wayne & Drake are controlling the industry..they are everywhere and very much active. So for Em this was a statement verse,. Especially to Wayne, who claimed Em was afraid to jump on a record with him.
He bodied all these cats, and the fact that he in last makes it even that much more hardbody,…hell, I’m listening to this joint in Fast Forward and Play it when King marshal is on

drake’s was number 2…lil wayne automatically dropped in the ranks when he forcibly rhymed martian with……. “JARDANS”
sorry but if every rapper could get away with forces like that, this rap shit would be too easy.
i mean he wouldnt be the 1st big artist to do it…jay inexplicably rhymed “its stronger than, heroANNE when you could look in the mirror like there i am”

Slaughterhouse has maybe 4 or 5 “posse cuts” on there album alone that is better than this one. Eminem rapes this joint though.
And is it just me, or is Kanye damn near a bum on the mic 85% of the time? I hear alot of people saying he’s nice and he’s a spitter. He’s really not, in my opinion.

Can someone PLEASE explain why Em rapping fast or using more syllables makes his verse the best. Yes it was a hot verse, but you MOFOS act like Jesus Christ himself just spit that verse. KANYE ALL DAY. Damn all hating aside give the cat his due. Ye has the same record as far as killing people on there own track. Somebody name one wack Kanye guest verse.

Eminem ‘rapping fast’ and ‘using more syllables’ doesn’t make him the best verse…him having the BEST VERSE verifies him as having the best verse!

No I here ya Gooch Ye is an assasin for sure he murdered weezy on barry bonds he murdered Jeezy on put on does anyone even listen to jeezys verse on that put on song lol he got Jay on Run this town and Hater for that matter Kanye has def come into his own as a rapper but I do kinda think Em did have the best verse I dunno why he just grabs your attention with this one I’m not saying its a land slide like others been saying cause if you really listen to Weezy he’s coming with it too “hello its the martian space jam jordans LOL” it’s weezys flow thats impecable and Ye’s line about rapeing the game early is some clever shit. Your right peole do tend to get caught up in theatrics with raping its like if you say shit really fast or with intensity in your voice or use unnecessary vocab your an amazing lyricist which is not necessarily true to me the slower paced more concise and deliberate rappers like scar face and notorious BIG are more impressive you can’t hide behind the theatrics when people can actually here what your saying only then can you really see how good a rapper is do his words and word play make sense or are they just words for words sake. Em’s been guilty of the latter on past occasions but not here this time he killed the verse not by much but the crown none the less goes to him

Here is where we disagree I think best I ever had was a great video tell me name another video good or bad that’s been talked about more then this one maybe beyonce’s single ladies esp now after Kanye gate but Drakes Double D’s Best I ever had video has to be one of the most talked about all year and with that it’s a success it did it’s job to bring more attention to the artist and the song. As for the forever video yeah its just ok alot of pyro and lights no real concept to it looks like they shot it in opium gardens in miami typical huge miami club kinda dull you might be right about that one but Drakes first video WAS GREAT! LOL

I know people love Em and yeah he had a tough verse. But Kanye Shit was to dope, “I trade my grammy plaqs just to get my granny back remember she had that bad back like a fanny pack” Like really though he used auto-tune on an album but everything he has featured on in the past year he had hands down the best verse on it. Stop letting tv judge a talent, Fuck all that media smashing cameras and running on stage he still a better artist than most people his auto-tune album still is near double platnium and he still raps circles around these around artist
But I will give Em the number two and Drake the number three spot on this record

Lets stop arguing about who had the best verse its a good song as a whole isn’t that what really matters damn! There all good rappers Drakes honest lyricism on his mixtapes is refreshing in todays hip-hop lets hope it continues on his up coming album, but the kid is really talented and truly is the future, Weezy is just fucking off the wall, his unpredictable but also at times so obvious it’s humorous rhymes are one of a kind no-one can do what he does Kanye is probably one of the most underrated lyricist in Hip-Hop people get distracted by his antics and his fashion sense and pop senseibility and fail to realize when it coming to just the rapping part of this he’s really fucking good and actually got better with time since we first herd him now how often can you say that about Rappers too often we can definitely say the opposite, and Em what can I say the white phenom does what he does now recently lets be honest he’s been surviving on reputation alone cause most recent work has been less then stellar relapse including but he def sounds back to form with this song all in all its all good.

It’s just the whole Drake Being Lyrical thing is weird considering I heard Charles Hamiltion, Wale and Cool Kids Drop better mixtapes and not get half the credit that he’s getting and he had more money to start out because he was already entertaining and these guys came from ground up.

I just dont get the overexaggeration of EM verses. I like EM alot, think he is amongst the greats, but I keep hearing he had the best verse here and there. I have never heard anyone quoting these EM verses he supposedly killed. He came off well but did not have the best verse or even the best flow. Sorry, not popular to say at the moment but DRAKE came off best on his track. KANYE, as sucessful as he has been still benefits from low lyrical expectations. WAYNE is quirky so I ignore him when he comes across just ok as he did here – the unique voice helps him not get drowned out. EM’s fast rapping style is just blah. Please quote me the ill portion of his verse.

Let me start by saying S Mat your an idiot. Em rode the beat to the drum pace. Every knock and snar he was on it. This is why hip hop is suffering. The video is bullshit pretty much. Is it me or am I the only one TIRED of hearing Sweet Cake Drake. I’ve heard so much of the bullshit songs here and there, that I don’t want to hear the album.

I’m an idiot because I disagree with you Concrete?
The reality is that with all the technical aspects
you mentioned in explaining Em’s verse, you
still did not quote me the ill line that he dropped.
We can agree to disagree without name calling,
which is a sure sign of stupidity. The problem with
hip hop is watered down talent, and people who
mistake hit song making for the audience that actually buys
records for ’sweetness.’. Remember that this is the
record ‘business.’
