Drake releases the visual to Take Care‘s club anthem, “The Motto.” Watch the official video for the song’s remix version with Lil’ Wayne and Tyga, as E-40 and Mistah F.A.B. make cameos. Along with an emotional opening from Wanda Salvatto, the mother of the late Bay Area legend Mac Dre.

Well, 40 wata brought the hot boyz to cali back when they first came out and became big. he also put them on his album and brought them on tour with him.
long story short he got a pass from 40.
is it just me or did drake seem a little out of place? his rhymes also sounded a little forced too lol. I think he feeling the pressure from common and luda. drake trying to get street now.

I have no problem with this song or the rappers who made it. I do have a problem however with the fact that the video was filmed here but only showed treasure island and the bay bridge. I just think if you’re going to make a video go hard or go home. I think people are upset because it looks low budget ( especially for artist of their calibre) and thrown together without thought. There isn’t enough bay area representation and if you aren’t a native or have visited the Bay, you wouldn’t know where it was shot. The bay loves those cats and was juiced that they were representing for us so it was sad to see the outcome which didn’t live up to peoples expectations.

First of all. This song is called motto and not anything California related. “Rest in peace Mac Dre imma do it for the bay”..was the only bay related line in the song so why is everyone acting like they shoulda done a tour of the bay for the video ..stfu and just watch the video and stop judgin everything. Video is dope enough as it is its simple y’all expect fireworks everytime
