hahaa….I can’t even hate on this, both “Twilight” and “New Moon” sucked monkey balls, but the books were so addictive, and the whole phenomenon is so ludicrous, I just have to embrace the cheese and go with it. Oprah actually debuted the “Twilight: Eclipse” trailer today….with the help of James Earl Jones Dakota Fanning. And its just as it should be. Awesomely absurd!

surprisingly the soundtracks have been far more sophisticated than the movies. The acting in all of these movies have been PAINFUL. Just 2 hours of worried eyebrows, biting lips, and goo goo eyes. COME ON!

really good music, some big names, like Thom Yorke from Radiohead doing a song exclusively for the 2nd chapter and they also used a Radiohead song for the end of the first one…
I went to see the 2nd one in the theater just to hear the new songs out loud
But how did they end up there in the first place???
For a band like Radiohead I would be really surprised that its about money… but I guess they gotta eat lol
But yeah the acting… I cant handle the girl playing Bella’s character, I dont even wanna know her name…

she is horrrrrrible. I haven’t seen Runaways, and I kind of want to see it, but I hope she doesn’t do this same pouty miserable girl act all the time.

its way, way, way better than zombie island i do like that movie but in a movie the most gansterous person is a 11 year old girl with a machine gun happy finger who play wit knives instead of dolls, an nicholas cage providing a sense of humor to blance out the unfatherly shit hes done to make his daughter rambo aaaaa yo this shit is crazy plus we got my dude mclovin haha i would go see the movie 2x more times just on the strength of how much fun i had at it an lol, if this movie aint catchin major buzz the film critics call this movie sadistic but damn if you like action movies wit a boost of testosterone go watch it , also lol at the main character who played kick ass that married , thats rite married the female director of the movie that is 43 an he just turned 18 plus she’s pregnant … kick ass should get a post on here miss info they been creating a buzz like hangover did an they giving this shit the greenlight for a part 2

Ah is it that time of year again…
I dont hate the Twilight series anymore, i am in fact in awe of the marketing machine and how it has turned this “Underworld for kids” into the cinematic giant it has become… I chalk it up to formula, Cameron drew the blueprint with titanic: Romantic character driven (not well written, or acted but you get the point) romantic plots exist at the heart of a larger scale plot rife with danger and adventure, wrapped in a familiar theme … it’s not neo realism, but it pays out, and this one looks to be going more towards the traditional action route (never read the books, friend of mine compared them to bad fan fiction and crack: addictive, but bad for you) which I find interesting… I might wait till late July, and then go catch a late night show, avoid the squealing girls

Meh. I don’t think its THAT well marketed? Nothing SPECIAL or particularly brilliant about the marketing? Like you said, it’s all of the things that teenage girls, desperate housewives, dramatic females (no offense but thats about 96%), gay guys who wanna see some OTHER gay guys abs, and those who have followed the literary series want, all rolled up into one big dramatic ball of (insert derogatory statement). The marketing is more of an AFTER effect of the unexpected success of the films i think. Once they realized what they had, they went real hard.

Gotta love those Portland trees but I don’t think were talking about the same trees. As for the movie never seen any of them don’t think I ever will especially after that comment by you Info, I have trust in your criticism’s but its good to see my home town get some love.

I don’t really understand why there is so much hype for this movie. Well, it is just another vampire movie. In-fact, It’s just a plain awful movie and there is nothing good about it. The visual effects are poor and the story itself is so mild. I have read the books and they are far better!
