New Music: Young Jeezy “Death Before Dishonor” (B.M.F. Freestyle) (UPDATED)
Posted by Mr.North under beef , hmmm....? , new music , quotes , videos[75] Comments
North says: The preparation for TM 103 begins, Young Jeezy will be dropping his 2nd mixtape of 2010 this time with DJ Scream called “1000 Grams Vol. 1″ here’s the first track put out to the public leading to the mixtape release this Thursday at 1:03 PM (no other details have been revealed). There was news over Twitter the past few days of Jeezy going over Rick Ross’ “Blowin’ Money Fast” and Young now delivers “Death Before Dishonor”.
New Music: Young Jeezy – “Death Before Dishonor” (B.M.F. Freestyle)
“How you blowing money fast, you ain’t even know the crew? oh you part of the fam? shit I never knew…” (c) Young Jeezy.
UPDATE #1: Shaheem Reid & MTV News just threw up an article and video on Ross’ reaction to Jeezy’s first release of “The Real Blowin’ Money Fast” back in June.
“I haven’t had a chance to talk to the homie,” Ross said. “I really don’t know what the thought process was behind it. My record was called ‘Blowin’ Money Fast.’ It confused me that if it was called ‘The Real B.M.F.,’ I would have called it ‘The Black Mafia Family.’ … You know, you may have to ask him. Other than that, we still reppin’, we still riding, and [my] record is getting love everywhere. So it’s all good.”

We all know ross is a “Busty” dude.. pause..

I have a new found respect for Young Jeezy… cause none of these rap cat got at this “fraud case” other him and 50. Before the album drop most would of thought this dude (Ross) was really hot in the streets lol but you gotta thank Def Jam promotion’s for that… the really did a good job but when the marketing/promoting stops you gotta have something to sell (11 tracks on the album 10 of them have features… in the 90’s we called that a compilation album not a solo joint)
The numbers are in and there is blood in the water Rick Ross sold something like 176,300 in his first week and approximately 50% of that in his second week. Don’t be fooled people… this might look like an accomplishment but consider the money spent on promotion, producer, the featured artists and add in Rick Ross fronting about the money he got jumping out of helicopters … yeah! He’s Blowing Money Fast but it aint his, it’s all credit and the labels always try to break even. Now, you look at 50’s numbers for BISD I think he sold something like 160 the first week but the big difference is 50 got more than one hustle so even if that all he sold with the moves, books, and all the other stuff he is involved with he’ll still make a profit.
As for Ross, rap is his only hustle and he is a fraud… you can’t act like the part of a life when everybody know you fronting. Rick Ross aint even your name… you want to be affiliated with street dudes minus the scars or the drama that living a street life brings… (When I was coming up we call them dudes “wanna bees”) It’s about time some of these rap cats stepped up and shed some light on that fake sh!t

haaaaaaaaaaa you mad playa? It aint my fault Jeeze got at this fraud case… I am just stating my opinion. But I feel ya… I mean, at this point even you can see that Ross can’t take too many hits like this… so you want to make this about me LOL
I don’t know if you notice but this is what this part of the site is about… and even if you mad about what I said just read on and you’ll see that I’m not the only one who think Rick Ross had it coming.
As a consumer of hip-hop/rap music … I think the game won’t change until that wack sh!t get played out… for a long time Rick Ross and lot of other wack artist got a pass fooling the public pretending to be other than what they are… but eventually the game changes and they get their card pulled… think about what happen Mase, Mike Jones, Ja-Rule, chingy, Mobb Deep, Jim Jones, and so on
But like I said, I feel your pain… and I can understand why you want to make this about me… but you should know that there’s plenty of people with the same opinion and that’s why Teflon Don aint selling … Def Jam did their job but if the game is changing and Hip-Hop is going through a self-cleansing they can’t help that. A&Rs just have to keep their ear to the street and try to find what’s hot instead of trying to force feed the game with that B.S. and telling us it’s HOT.
You can put perfume on shit but it’s still shit at the end of the day.
August 9th, 2010 at 5:45 pm
….i cant respect how Jeezy uses the BMF name when it suits him then side steps it when the heats on. Meech and his MOTHER cosigned Ross’ joint.
Leave the subliminals at out of the booth.

Well to those who dont know, BMF brought jeezy into the game and therefore he is very affliated with them. Rick ross essentially lied to the public about his past and therefore he is fake. The lyrics in that BMF song is opposite to ross. Jeezy is essentially calling ross out. And can u blame him?? Everyone is letting rick ross slide with all his lies and what not. Its time someone takes him out of hiphop. 50 cent exposed ross and now someone else needs to address it

Seems like everybody is mad cuz Ross may or may not have been the big drug dealer he raps about. But I’m wondering how is he any different than any of these other rappers. I mean come on do u really think these dudes are out there doing the stuff they rap about. Lil Wayne raps about hustling and shooting people and running in peoples house all the time. But realistically we’ve watched him grow up right in front of us. So when was he doing all that? Hip hop is so homophobic but weezy and baby used to kiss eachother and had like the lamest excuse ever. But he still goes 2x platinum. Drake is a geek from Toronto but raps like a swagged out down south artist. Jay-Z made a whole career of talking about hustling and shooting niggas. Even far after he was a millionaire. I could go on and on. The point is if u don’t like Ross music cuz he might be a fraud then how can u justify listening to most of the artists out right now

I see a lot of people being mad when it suits them when it comes to these rap battles. Yes a rap battle!!!!! Until it hits the street we can all agree that’s all this will be. I’m reading comments stating that they don’t like the fact Jeezy didn’t say the COPS name but gives Jay-Z a pass everytime he slick talks around any rapper he may have on his mind for that day. Fans can’t have it both ways. You can’t say it’s cool for that dude to do it but shit on the next one for going about the same way. Now I would have loved it if Young would have 50 this type of shit right from the gate but you fans would not have liked that tact for whatever reason also. We live in a damned if you do, you know the rest LOL…… As long as Jezzy keeps this in the booth this will be very entertaining. We already have a Triple C’s reject popping off on Twitter and Thisis50.com won’t be to far from the gas can when the flames start.( And I thought this was going to be a boring summer.) Missinfo quick question. Do you think 50 will get involved considering he has a friend (Mazaradi Fox) who is cool with Gucci????

Regardless of Jeezy having some alright shots at Ross and how “real” he is, Jeezy’s version is ass. I used to be a fan of Jeezy because he was always consistent even if he is talking about drugs all the time. But recently it’s like his flow is off or something and his voice sounds different. Hopefully he comes correct on TM103 but from the singles I’ve heard I don’t have too much hope.

I think some of this is out of fustration, TM103 is long overdue and has been pushed by to make room for TD. Def Jam has knowingly or unknowingly pitted their artist against each other.
This is the 2nd time Ross has caught the best of a situation at the expense of a labelmate, remember Jada’s Last Kiss LP came out 2 weeks before DTR, but who got more promo?

this is why people need to get up off that BS veil of protection aka HATE/HATING. When an artist is called out for being an impostor or making corny-ass music and someone decides to voice their opinion, don’t come out your face and call them a hater. Their basically doing what they’re supposed to do and that’s “checks and balances”.
Officer Ricky got a past for the C.O. stuff, ’cause everyone likes his music. I’ve heard it from numerous radio & satellite radio DJs (e.g. “I may not like dude but he makes good music”). Have to be careful with that attitude ’cause you opening Pandora’s box with that logic.

I really like both of these artists, people need to understand that the whole industry is entertainment, if you believe 90% of the lyrics most of your favourite rappers would have been indicted…
I would like to believe there is more to the whole situation between Ross and Jeezy…there are two people that can definitely help dissolve this situation, Diddy and DJ Khaled….
in relation to the actual track, I don’t think Ross knew it would be this big, I would say he should have reached out to Jeezy or got a feature off him considering them lex luger records both sound like Jeezy/shawty red kinda joints, however Jeezy has not featured Ross on any of his albums….
