Even if you aren’t familiar with Toro Y Moi, this is worth a listen. This beatmaker/singer gels together layers and layers of sounds, and then busts out some soulful crooning over-top these complex productions. His music is funky and danceable at times, and trippy and slow at others. Definely give the kid a shot if you want something different.
