The Brooklyn MC previews a cut from upcoming release Timez Are Weird These Days out July 19th. We first heard a snippet in the How to Make It in America preview, and now the full track is out after debuting on Wired (just days after he released a song on Mashable…I’m sensing a theme here!). Big things are brewing for Theophilus, with a sold-out Bowery show on 7/21 and a recently confirmed appearance on 90210.

[Kanye] told me to remember that there’s always going to be some musician kid in Brooklyn who’s eating his cereal and waiting to capitalize on your mistakes.

On his eclectic style:

I’ll buy an old jacket and attach gold buttons and a couple royal patches. Or I’ll find an old busted sweatshirt, tear out the zipper, and replace it with a $700 zipper. I make things my own. And you can be sure that I’m going to be as dressed-down as a motherfucker every time I step in a room. That’s my thing.
