We got the music roundup from Saturday, which had a few new tracks drop on the internet. First is Game’s “Higher” which has been spoken about for a while but finally dropped this weekend. The track also features Jay Electronica & Swizz Beatz and will be a cut on Game’s upcoming R.E.D. Album, the final version will have a verse from Nas.

This probably could be called the remix? on Friday it dropped with tags, now without. (Props to HHC via Splash)
New Music: Jamie Foxx feat. T.I. – “Yep, That’s Me” (Produced By E.Hudson) [No Tags]
This dropped a few weeks ago with tags, now here’s the version without. There’s Soulja Boy ad-libs on this which may suggest he has a verse that’s missing on this. Jamie Foxx’s new LP called Body coming soon. (Props to Splash)

miss info, this is gonna be long. I hope you read it.
MJB is working on the new cd already? It has only been 8mo. So that is it for SWET. No more promo? NO singles? No tour? Why is Geffen not promoting her? I have noticed this for some yearrs now.
1) Back in Dec 5/Jan 6 she had “be without u” that was #1 RB for 15weeks & won grammy . The other songs “one, enough cryin, take me as i am” got vids, but it was really BWY that every1 was talking about . This cd was stellar. All the songs were top 5 RB hits. My fav was actually TMAIA.
2) She /Carter did the very successful spring 8 Heart Of The City Tour.
Next she did the greatest hits. GH cds arent usually promoted. Geffen did do a cute ad with the girl Nia from YT.
3) In Dec 9 Growing Pains came out. Again no promo.
-’Just Fine’ was played alot. So the cd started off strong. There was no followup.
‘Work That’ is a FANTASTIC song. It has a positive empowering theme like SL, like Superwoman. This song shoulda got a great vid treatment. It shoulda been the ringtone of the summer. It has such a postive message. But nothing. It was #20R, #65general. That ipod ad wasnt enough.
-’Hurt Again’ too has a nice message. A nice song, the kind we’re used to from MJB. But no promo.
- ‘Stay Down’ got a vid. I dont get why. The vid is so choppy. It looks like it is leftovers of NeYo’s ‘So Sick’ vid.
WHY DID GEFFEN & MJB ABANDON GP CD? It shoulda been huge. Instead just 1mill sold. I feel like it was fumbled like “Love & Life: a great cd that was slept on.
MJB had to do 2 tours 4 ‘GP’. I feel it wasnt be of stellar sales, it was bc of debt. Artists get paid last we all know. Cd sales is how label recoup their advance $. Since the cd didnt sell 2mill copies, MJB still had to pay back Geffen with her tour $ for all the studio times, producers, mixers, etc since the cd sold .
What the h*ll happened?
Now to present, I feel the same thing is happening. Stronger With Each Tear was released in Dec–i think MJB does this to guarantee xmas sales. ‘The 1′ was released w Drake & auto tune bc both of those things were hot last summer. I call this a buzz song bc MJB doesnt seem like this is what a cd worth of her music would be like.
The real 1st single is another fantastic song: “I Am”. Next song is “Hood Love”. That was months ago. Why no summer single? Sales have stalled, in 8mo she has sold 800,000. ‘I Feel Good’ woulda been the perfect summer song. It coudla been this year’s Empire State of Mind. I can see the vid of MJB having a good time @ the club. The beat is great, it is a great dance song. Young & old coulda enjoyed this song ! I really hope ‘good love’ with TI will rejuvinate this cd. It is a great uptempo song. Both ‘IFG’ & ‘GL’ coulda been summer songs.

MJB is so talented & I sad that her music isnt reaching the masses.
She has something to say & it needs to be heard.
That cd’s songs shoulda been pushed. What is going on? Why arent Kendu & MJB demanding more?
