New Music: Stacy Barthe feat. Ricky Rozay “Hell Yeah!”
Posted by Andy B. under new music[4] Comments
Grammy-nominated singer Stacy Barthe has three EPs, Sincerely Yours, Stacy Barthe, Stacy Barthe Presents The Seven Days of Christmas and In The Inbetween, to her name, but her biggest success has perhaps been found behind the scenes, where she’s penned songs for the likes of Rihanna, Brandy and Katy Perry. Currently prepping a new EP entitled P.S. I Love You, Ms. Barthe looks to be finally eying up a breakout as a solo artist, as she lands a feature from Rick Ross on her brand new single, “Hell Yeah!” Connecting over a lush, percussion-heavy instrumental (produced by K. Roosevelt of Hit-Boy’s HS87 label), it sounds like the chemistry was instantaneous between the pair.
Appropriately enough, P.S. I Love You drops on Valentine’s Day via Motown/Homeschool Records (John Legend’s label).
Listen to “Hell Yeah!” after the jump…

I like Stacy’s style! She’s kind following a similar path to Ne-Yo.. Penning & then establishing themselves. Her duet with Frank Ocean will always stand out to me.
