New Music: Rick Ross feat. Drake & Chrisette Michelle “Aston Martin Music”
Posted by Miss Info under for fashion-hounds and obsessive consumers , hmmm....? , new music , photos[41] Comments

Rick Ross’ Teflon Don album drops July 20, and he’s been counting down the days on Twitter. Meanwhile Young/Onsmash dropped this off, a Ross/Drake/ChrisetteMichelle collabo off an upcoming Big Mike mixtape. This is a bit of a mish mash. Drake’s hook sounds like a song I wish was completely separate and expanded upon. Illy says the song is missing Drake’s verse. Ah ha.
New Music: Rick Ross feat. Drake and Chrisette Michelle “Aston Martin Music” (Produced by the JUSTICE League)

(Drake yucking it up with Virgin Air founder Richard Branson during their media event for tagging a plane temporarily with his name, via WilliamYan. Ehh, I guess it’s worth it just to hang out with Branson and soak up some of his billy-jewels. Or maybe schmooze an invite to his vacation island; )
more, after the jump….
Update: Tag less version of “Aston Martin Music” added after the jump

Speaking of Chrisette Michelle, I love to see folks calling on her for collaborations because her voice is so clean…but OUCH @ the responses to her Essence Music Festival outfit over at my homie Fresh’s Crunktastical. Be ware of comfortable clothing, ladies, lol. (click pic to read more)

I think it was probably not something to wear to that event…
But going to a BBQ on a Sunday afternoon the outfit looks fine….

because the songs are good. And personally, I don’t think most rappers do what they rhyme. If Ross was formerly a pedofile, then I’d have a moral stance on his past profession, but corrections doesnt offend me that much I guess.

yea, but there’s NO authenticity to his music…not a bit
How would you feel if Drake (knowing his background) made Jim Jones type music content?
What if we found out that Mobb Deep aint from QB, but, turned out to be from Malibu CA.

What difference does it make?
I would understand your perspective if this was “MC William Roberts,” but this dude is playing a character and is in character in the entertainment industry. I don’t see the difference between this and other entertainers/rappers.
“Ooohhh…Freddie Jackson didn’t have sex with all of those women. His love songs aren’t authentic.”
“The creator of McDonald’s was never a clown; therefore, Ronald McDonald is not authentic.”
“Lizards can’t talk in real life; therefore, GEICO insurance is not authentic.”
The eff?

i personally dont care if he used to be a C.O. But the fact that he denied it and said it was photoshop?!?!?! and have you heard him being interviewed? he really thinks hes a big drug kingpin like Rick Ross… oh no sorry, now he thinks hes Big Meech!!!??!?? seriously? what would biggie say?

Do you think it’s a disservice to the final product to release unfinished/incomplete music?
This is just a general question since the finished version usually surfaces not to long after so why not wait?
*Not directed specifically at you Info I just trust your opinion on this*

Drake verse or bridge or whatever seem way outta place with the lyrics.
@Latin King it use bother me too to see this nigga still getting burn in the industry after getting exposed. But its called “The industry for a reason”. Its all entertainment at the end of the day.Its like rappers that says they represent for the people. Oh really you do? But every time i see you with a new chain or bragging about how much money you got. Your not donating that shit back to your city or other places where it could be useful.
When its all said and done they are entertainers. So just cause a guy a fraud or a wannabe. Doesn’t mean you let them entertain your nerves…LOL

Ross is a Fraud…Period
Example, when Nas does a song like “Street Dreams”…we know he don’t do what he said in the song, BUT, the STORY TELLING was SO ILL and CRAZY! Reason why it makes it dope….
Unlike Ross, dude went to college, had a honest paying job, lived in his mom’s house till his late 20’s..but in his interviews dude really think he knows Noriega & pushed 100 Keys…LMAO!!!!

reguardless of his fake mafiuoso wayz you cant deny that the fat boy can rhyme .. hes no biggie (damm u puff lol) but hes nice with the verses and his production is out of this world (the runners cool & dre Jusitce league olympik) if it wasnt for all that then his career wouldve been done … but he gets the job done u cant hate on that.

rawse needs to be more creative. he has maybach music 1 & 2, mafia music, now this aston martin music…it’s like he is glad that he can pronounce the names of some of these things so he has to let the world know. talented artist but i think he needs to stop thinking like ” what would a boss do?” and actually be a boss.

you are stupidity at it’s peak. if i dont like the title of a song means i cant like a song? idiot… all i said was be more creative. if titles never meant anything people would just call it trackl 1 or 2. and ross aint no boss, he’s valiantly trying to become one though.

@Jay
I remember when I used to be a big Lethal weapon and Mel gibson fan.(I should have seen the signs, I mean have you seen his dad). That all changes pretty quickly. And now I cant watch any of his movies because I cant seperate guy from the movie.
I think that Music is kinda similiar, If I like the artist, I tend to like the music (Or I at least Give it a chance), If I dont like the artist I’m already predisposed to hating his music, Most people I know are this way. It’s on of the many reasons Chris Brown’s Album Flopped. Youre asking Us to seperate the Music from the artist, something that you know is inherently unatural.
(For wrestling fans) Remember how You felt when You were a kid and you first dicovered that the WWE was Fake. Well, I stopped taking it seriusly after that. I stoped caring. And I know Miss Info has been in and around the Industry a long time. So her cynacism is Valid and probably warrented. You’ve see behind the curtain. But the rest of take Rap at its word (Its Not Niavety but cautious optimism. we are a hopeful bunch). We trust the game to regulate itself. But now we see a Guy like Rick Ross OPENLY playing an act. With Puffy (One of hip hops elder statesmen) OPENLY supporting him. How can I take rap serously after that? Answer. I cant and shouldn’t have in the first place. After all it just Music.
But tell me this if we stopped caring about the artist, or whether he’s sincere about his music, or whether he cares about his fans, or whether he thinks his genre is there to be exploited. How many people would still comment on message Boards? How many people would go out of their way to find stories about their favourite rapper? How many people would read blogs (Just like this one) for hip hop news? In other words They would stop caring as much.
*Dont support your favourite rapper by buying the album, Just illegally download it instead* Wait do you still have a favourite rapper haha, you know its all fake right.. right

I can feel it in my toes that Drake (Wayne’s & Nickis Ghostwriter) is going to be way more successful then Wayne and will leave Young Money then thats when all the jealousy from Baby and them will start.
@Rick Ross article-He’s putting out good music mostly because of the newer producers hes using. But theres not a problem with him being a correctional officer but he messed himself up a bit by liein about him not being one
Chrisette lookin like Sisqo

ATTN: To the other bloggers who feel William was wrong for deny it (and only has contempt for liars) like myself, please be careful. all ross had to say was “yeah i was a c.o. i lost my job cuz i was carrying packages to and for the inmates”. story done, the rest would be left to the publics imagination. better than saying “thats not me” ,”i don’t know who that is”, “thats photoshopped”. i grew up hearing krs 1 tell people trying to get into the game “make sure that you have a job!”
