Mikey: A leak from OB4CL2, and it’s retarded. Definitely needed this to boost my spirits after hearing that Jay-Z weakness.
(9/24) MissInfo: yikes, Mike, tell ‘em how you really feel, lol. But yeah, this Rae song is evil goodness. I’m really just happy overall that this album is shaping up to shut down alot of the skepticism that preceded it. Not that the skepticism wasn’t warranted. We’ve been disappointed by sequels and comebacks many times as fans.
(Props to Alex from Killer Beez)

What does that mean? Em is almost 40 are you not feeling him either? Talent is not quantified by age. BTW Jay Z will be 40 this year aswell! Who are you feeling? That Rae joint is bananas. Keep it 1 Hunid!!

Part of me thinks that Jay-Z is afraid to make music like this again. The entire American Gangster album, while good, was still not like this.

crazy….rae went in. feels good to hear good lyrics on top of fire beats. Cap verse wasn’t necessary.
So radio can play anything with Drake on it 3,749 times a day but can’t give this some spins before 10pm???

This track isn’t that amazing. Compared to “Run This Town” and other wackness, then yeah. But otherwise, it’s just ok.
Decent beat, but not crazy ill. In fact, I can’t think of a Wu/Dilla collab that has been super ill. It’s always just ok compared to the other stuff. Even on Fishscale. Pete Rock’s “RAGU” was way better than any Dilla beat on that album. I’m hoping that stuff along those lines will leak soon, or at least be on the album.
Anyway, that’s just my $0.02

I was critical of Jay for not pushing ‘Jockin Jay-Z’ and i felt like D.O.A and Run this town were terrible tracks..
but ” We off That ” is a hard track.. tha hook and tha beat is banging..
Shout to miss info on tha Bonus.. Hav/Dilla/Raekwon.

Now this here is rental car rap!! But is it just me, or has Raekwon not gotten any better since the mid 90’s? Not to say that he is wack, cause hes not. But look at Ghost. He has gotten nicer and nicer thru the years. Rae has just kinda stayed in the same place. Just my opinion.
Good song though.

Even though “retarded” is politically incorrect, it’s absolutely appropriate here.

Given the actions as demonstrated over the last few months, indicating that “so-and-so will kill/destroy/murder so-and-so lyrically” ends up with someone being punched in the grill.
Therefore, for posting that comment, I suspect that you will soon be punched in the eye by Bleek or J. Cole in October.
