Nicki Minaj was pleasantly surprised today as the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Las Vegas debuted the first wax figurine of the Queens star. Depicting her wildly popular and controversial “Anaconda” video, Onika has been immortalized forever alongside Elvis, Madonna and more.

The Game is heading back to VH1 for yet another reality show. In an upcoming series titled She’s Got Game, the Cali rapper picked 10 of famous friends to help him find love (again). If you remember, Game was also the star of Marrying The Game, which followed his relationship with his fiancée and mother of his two kids, Tiffany Cambridge. They lasted a few seasons before calling it quits.

She’s Got Game premieres Aug. 10 at 9 p.m. ET on VH1, and you it will be on new levels of ratchet.

If you’ve been sleeping on Joell Ortiz and !llmind’s collaborative Human album, “Lil Piggies” should give you a good indication on what you’re missing out on. The video for the single has more of a horror feel to it and Joell is certainly spitting his ass off, as !llmind joins him to kidnap someone and put them in check.

At the rate Mike WiLL Made It has been releasing these beats, he’s going to run through his whole catalog by the end of the year. We’re at the 10th edition of his #InstrumentalTuesdays series and for this go around, he drops some more bangers that belong to Migos, Young Jeezy and Future. Turn the bass up for optimum experience.

Travi$ Scott literally puts on a clinic every time he touches the stage. When it comes to sheer energy and that “I don’t give a F*ck” attitude, there are only a few new cats who are as hyped up onstage as Scott. But I bet you didn’t know that his inspiration for the rowdiness stems from his childhood love of professional wrestling — especially the Hardy Boyz.

“Raging and having good feelings and having fun is something I plan on doing and spreading across the world. I just need air and I mic. I don’t need a stage to perform, we just need something to stand on,” says Scott.

I get that “What are those?!” is a running joke in the sneaker world, but this was borderline disrespectful. Luckily, Michael Jordan is a good sport and took it lightly. It all happened at his Flight School camp when it was time for a Q&A from the campers. Bryce Lyle got his turn to as MJ one question and blurted out:”What are those!?”

The place erupted in alugher and Michael seemed to get a kick out of it. Complex points out that Jordan had one two different pairs of unreleased Air Jordan XX9 lows during his visit, but we can’t make out which pair from the grainy video.

I’m just saying show Michael the proper respect he deserves.

Obama Tiger Beat

Miss Info: Of all the interesting investments that Nas has made over the years…from Mass Appeal Magazine to Sweet Chick chicken-and-waffles to the Rock The Bells concerts…this one is one I would have never expected. Nas, along with his tech-investment savvy manager Anthony Saleh, basketball star Kevin Durant, Nick Cannon, Atom Factory founder Troy Carter, Daily Mail (which recently bought EliteDaily), and Steve Tisch (as in the NY Giants’ Tisch Family)…are Fashionista of the teen fan magazine, Tiger Beat.

“It was all a dream, I used to read ‘Word Up’ Magazine…”
Biggie immortalized the practice of poring over teeny-bopper magazines, ripping out the pages, and taping them to our walls…the way many of us who grew up in the pre-iphone era expressed our “likes”, “retweets,” and “faves.” And while Word Up and Right On! spoke to the fans of Another Bad Creation, Wreckx-n-Effect, and later, Aaliyah, the biggest player in the fan-mag business was Tiger Beat (and to a lesser degree, Bop). The formula was simple…

The smooth sounds of James Fauntleroy have been flooding the Internet the past few days with a slew of releases. “Magic” is one of a handful, which will appear on the upcoming 1984 album. The Malay-produced track has a vintage lo-fi vibe to it that he describes as something for the “cold summer,” but sounds more like something for a beach trip.
