It’s about to be a Cruel Summer. With G.O.O.D. Music’s highly-anticipated compilation album on the way, Pusha T previews the havoc it’ll cause with this solo lyrical cut “Exodus 23:1.” Clearly Pusha has a lot on his chest to get off, who’s he speaking about here? Ask the man himself on Twitter.
UPDATED: Lil Wayne has responded on Twitter… read what he said about Pusha after the jump…
Listen to “Exodus 23:1″ and catch the lyrics after the jump….

UPDATE: Lil Wayne Responds!
Pusha T Feat. The-Dream – “Exodus 23:1″ (Lyrics):
“Beef is best served like steak, well done get a gun to your face
Beef will have you praying to god, move your kids have you hiding your mom
Beef is when you hide behind them other n***as, but they ain’t killas, they ain’t pulling them triggas
Beef will have you keying our cars, heart broke yours don’t look like ours…[The-Dream hook]
Throwing that flag up, thinking you hot s**t taking half of everything you get…
[The-Dream hook]
(1st Verse)
Contract all fucked up, I guess that means you’re all fucked up
You signed to one n***a, that signed to another n****a, that signed to three n****’s now that’s bad luck
Damn that shit even the odds now, you better off selling this hard now
You call that living out yours dreams? You can’t fly without your wings…you get it
Jeremy Scott’s all camouflage, you can’t hide it from yourself career sabotage
I was really in that Travelodge, you just lying through your catalogues
Where the blood and the battle scars, we the ones the judge juggling them gavel’s on
Put me to the body, 1st 48 put us to them bodies
Round here we don’t play that, A-to-the-K that, spray that, lay back
You can your beef n***a, we much rather shed your….
3 million can’t hide that, it shows in the homes I done tried that
That’s why you’ll never be my neighbors, smile as you waving but we know you f****ing hate us
F**k you playing games for, don’t be scared get everything you came for
They got you talking that big s**t, little do you know we don’t miss s**t
Them n****s using you as a pawn, you see they never loaded their guns
Now you out here all by yourself, ask Steve Jobs wealth don’t buy health.Beef is best served like steak, well done get a gun to your face
Beef will have you praying to god, move your kids have you hiding your mom
Beef is when you hide behind them other n****s, but they ain’t killas, they ain’t pulling them triggas
Beef will have you keying our cars, heart broke yours don’t look like ours…[The-Dream hook]
Throwing that flag up, thinking you hot s**t taking half of everything you get…
[The-Dream hook]
And you know that…”

I think Pusha was exaggerating a little but maybe he’s referring to Young Money being a subsidiary to Cash Money who is a subsidiary to Universal

Pusha T has been a fave of mine for a long time. Who he’s getting at is obvious if you do the math of this line ” signed to one n***a, that signed to another n****a, that signed to three n****’s now”
I want to hear G.O.O.D.’s music though, not Kanye’s silly film. Learn from the fashion line disaster , Kanye! Give us that G.O.O.D. music

Plus, why would wayne respond if it wasnt aimed at him?

Lil Wayne(Young money)<Birdman & Slim(cash money records)<Universal (Barry Weiss)
They made Lil Wayne "president" of cash money records. But that's just a nice corporate way of saying, you can have a cut of all artist you sign, but you cant touch the brand revenues.
Pusha did his homework. Lil Wayne will probably fire back, I've never seen him respond so quickly. touched a nerve cause what pusher said was true he's the last on the food chain.

He’s not talking about Drake. Hip-hop heads are so into reading too much into lyrics is disgusting. If he’s really referring to Drake, then he falls in that same category too. He signed to a nigga, who’s signed to another nigga, who’s also signed to another nigga. ( Good Music, Roc nation, Def Jam). Let Artist just create Art & stop reading too much into the lyrics unless the lyrics is directed at the person specifically & the persons name is mentioned.. IT’S ONLY ENTERTAINMENT!!!!!!

Shout outs Miss info … Smell me.
From a one-out-of-ten perspective … just off of fist-listen … I give it a five.
It was sloppy, it was deceptive, it didn’t have that much energy, he didn’t drop any names, his ad-libs were out-dated …
Furthermore, Pusha is one of the elite rappers in the game and he has to be confident enough to take a battle to next level — drop a name, Pusha.
Matter of fact, Pusha will be in Memphis this weekend or next weekend – headlined by 2-chainz, so it ought to be crazy.
Looking forward to see if he drops a name there.
Chuuuch!

Welcome to battles in 2012, where dudes are terrified to reply by hitting the booth and putting out venom. Nowadays, they go to Twitter or just go on the radio and claim the other person is hating. Fuck that. These little cats don’t understand what hip hop is about. Quit! If you’re scared to get tested, then just quit the game and make pop music.

Yo,
Yall been missing it all along. This is a ROC vs Cash Money thing. If you remember I told yall when WTT came out the same thing. Listen back to all the songs J Ye and the crew did. In every song, they mention baby. and I quote, “We give a damn about the drama that you do bring
I’m just tryna change the color on your mood ring
Reebok, BABY, you need to try some new things
Have you ever had shoes without shoestrings?
What’s that, Ye? BABY, these heels
Is that a May-what? BABY, these wheels
You trippin when you ain’t sippin, have a refill
You feelin like you run it, huh?
Now you know how we feel”
Ye was saying Baby bites off of them and Reebok aint jack, who endorsed Reebok first during that time? “BabY” Now who think they run rap? “BABY” In WTT the song PRIMETIME!!! Who Jay and Ye calling out, “BABY”!!!! Yall missing it. Jay and Ye sending the wolves out on these niggas now… who the real? yall walking around with yall eyes closed… this been on!!! LISTEN TO WATCH THE THRONE!!! Jay and Ye been addressing this for years!!! I’m telling yall aint ssing it… ROC getting the best of CMB!!! Trust me!!
To top it off, REMEMBER THIS from WTT who is ye talking to,
“Primetime, basking in the lime
Cassius in his prime, Coloring out of the line
Cause they don’t want nobody that’s colored out of the lines
So I’m late as a mother***er, colored people time
Damn Yeezy, they all gotta be dimes?
Well, Adam gave up a rib so mine better be prime
Ni**as gon kill me, I swear they better be lying
I never live in fear, I’m too out of my mind
Primetime, never hit these heights
I mean it’s like, it’s like our first 1st class flight
I’m trippin’ on it, socks on marble floors
I’m slippin’ on it, Champagne, I’m sippin’ on it
Sh*t taste different, don’t it?
You know what, you right
It’s like the best damn champagne I had in my life
“When you coming home” That’s a text from my wife
I told her, run a bubble bath
And float in that mother***er like a hovercraft
And soak in that mother***er til I call you back
I mean who says sh*t like that, and doesn’t laugh (un-huh) “BABY”!”
Meaning baby aint like us!!! F CMB!

A G.O.O.D Music and Young Money beef would do my summer right. Its been a recent influx of rappers coming in the game and it would be nice to see a lil competition to see who’s really hungry and lyrically the coldest. Wayne recently dissed “the throne” at the concert so i’d like to see this beef go all the from Pusha T to Jay-z. I wanna see Wayne go at his idol HOV. I want Pusha T takin jabs at the whole young money camp. I wanna see Hov get his hands dirty again and delivery a “super ugly” or a “takeover”. I know Kanye doesn’t participate in beef but he shouldn’t shy away from the chance to rep his team and win a battle.
Pusha T technically is only signed to Kanye because its a production deal. Pusher T’s distribution is at another label. So Pusha T is correct when commenting on all the people in Drake’s pocket. Also nice Pusha used Dream on the hook. Dream and Wayne have personal beef due to their in common relationships female R&B artists.
In my opinion, (which in the grand scheme of things isn’t that important) Drake should have signed to ROCNATION. Better fit and his longevity would be more insured under HOV.
I feel like despite the violence rap beef inspires… Rap beef is healthy. I enjoy the initial subliminal shots and then the direct references that come later. In hip hop there must be a clear “top dog” Right now these two camps are producing the best music besides MMG. So I say give the people what they want. FULL SCALE LYRICAL WAR!

Honestly, I think this track should serve as a general rule of thumb for ALL RAPPERS who join a hip hop record label and start claiming the label as their set…
Homie this is business..that’s it man. Not family, not blood, not a gang…it’s a record label, a group of business people who are basically in charge of marketing and distributing your work. Nothing more.
I’m not knocking the bond that is formed through creating records, touring etc…But understand that Lil Wayne and Drake would never hang out under any other circumstances than $..never.
I don’t think this track should be reduced to a diss track…it’s more like social commentary. This has to be said.
