New Music…not just any music. Sade music! Her first single in 8 years: “Soldier of Love”

(someone spied on the elusive and still elegant Sade at a NYC restaurant and sent this photo to NYMag, back in 2007. NYMag responded with “leave her alone” but still used the pic, lol)
The last time Sade had any music out, you only heard it on the radio when Ms. Adu wanted you do….things are very different now, but I’m hoping her upcoming album, Soldier of Love, is just as timeless (read: please don’t succumb to any trends! I beg of you! I keep hearing words like Dream and Drake being thrown around. Oy!) as Sade’s other classics. (ahem…Love Deluxe, the GOAT sexy x sorrowful album)
Thank you to Kingz from Y2KDaily for sending Sade’s first and title single, “Soldier of Love,” over. (It’s a huge get, the song was set to debut tomorrow)

Drake DID say it would be a dream for him to do a song with Sade and 3Stacks. Sade and 3Stacks, do the whole world a favor and get on the phone with each other. Just please CONVEINENTLY forget to hit Drake on that 3way.

Already addicted to this track! The beat is so bangin and I love those bass strums at the end.

I hope that Mrs. Helen Adu does not put any rappers on her album at all. She does not need that kind of cross over appeal to maintain or gain a fanbase. She is a rare singer that is sexy without looking like she is selling sex to sell albums.

don’t you all get mad at susan she does sound like a man. but that might be because I have such a soft soft voice Im not used to hearing women sounding like that. But I do love sade and she is pretty but she does have a real deep voice sorry.

I couldn’t agree with you more! I cringe when I think that a guy like Drake has the balls to even wish he could be on a song with Sade. I hated the fact that Mary put him on her record.. and Alicia Keys too for that matter. And I don’t dislike Drake, but he should have to prove himself as an artist that can be mentioned in the same sentence as seasoned vets. He hasn’t done that yet.
I would rather Sade stay as pure as possible and not be affected in any way by what’s “hot”.. AT ALL. The only one person I could even begin to see her collaborating with (and not hate on it too much) would be Maxwell.. THAT’S IT!!
BTW.. I already have this song in the truck on repeat and it’s currently my ringtone! lol

Love the track, beautiful, vintage yet modern….cannot wait for the full project on Feb 8th…..like some else stated, she has a formula ALREADY that WINS, that is so simple and complex, so true to who she is as an artist………. no need to tack it up with tack heads that ain’t even respected in their own genre LLS!!!!

Beyonce, rhi rhi, ciara, to name a few, need to sit back listen and take notes on what a real singer and a love song sounds like. Sade is sexy without spreading the legs, stripper moves or posing nude. we want to hear good music….without the gimmicks

yo i love sade. i grown up listening to her, and i’m so happy to her that her first single doesn’t have any features or trying to sound like whats hot. she is smart, stick with what you know and your fans will follow. she’s amazing and i can’t wait to get this album!!

I love it… and I’ma have to agree with everyone. No rap collabos/conforming to trends please!! Everything about what she does is great though… People forget how hot the lyrics are. Like I’ve been saying… now that we got Maxwell and Sade back all we need is D’Angelo!

Man I feel so guilty even downloading Sade. I’m definitely gonna buy her stuff and i’m not gonna turn down the download either smh. Sometimes you don’t have to tweak something thats already perfect. I mean Drake is the new hotness, but sometimes you just don’t put 20’s on a Jaguar or a Benz. I don’t doubt he means well but aint nobody trying to hear that shit.

Sade music is not to be listen quickly on the web between many others sound you get from blogs etc..
I believe it requires to cut your mind from the superficial activities, let your mind flow, open your senses and then u feel the power of this great lady..
I mean especially after a 7year like hiatus..
I wasnt in the right mind when it u dropped it Info so I waited till today…
and theres no doubt I dig it!
