New Music: Mobb Deep feat. Nas “Dog S*!t” (prod. by The Alchemist & Havoc)
Posted by Mr.North under new music[19] Comments
It’s been twelve years since we’ve heard the two Queensbridge heavyweights going back and forth on “It’s Mine”. Yesterday, Havoc hit Twitter to announce that the two have re-united and here’s the result of their truce.
Mikey: Man, this record is almost perfect. Let’s hope Prodigy and Nas have a few more in the bag. Peace to Wu-Tang’s “Dog Shit.” (RIP ODB)

To many this track is instead called “Buffering…” and is a silent track reminiscent of the one Pootie Tang hit big with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtCxvv8Y3Bs

Im still trying to figure out how blood money was a bullshit album, it wasnt g-units fault at the time, it was prodigy’s rhyming that had people scratching their heads. The beats and songs on that album were mobb deep but no jewels from P made it weak. Dont think for a minute they aint still with unit in some major way, prodigy got that shit tatted on him and fifth can be a asshole but he takes care of people he considers loyal.

Fans went into that album wanting it to be trash only because MOBB got down with 50.. Hip Hop heads don’t like drastic change and to compare a person or group to a classic they once did is just straight up stupid.. Nas hasn’t put out anything better than his first album but semms to get a pass.. And everyone over looks that Murda Inc. shit and all the weak music that followed that breif time.. Hip Hop heads are a cult and if what they deem as there artist going outside of there box, what they put out is garbage.. This track is not what they were back in 1999.. But it is cool to see them in the stu together.. Nothing but good can come out of this.. (maybe even a track with 50) those joints on guess whose back are classic.. Even still I don’t expect the new shit to be better cause it never is..

“Nas hasn’t put out anything better than his first album but semms to get a pass.. ”
First of, no artist is ever able to replicate the energy, sound, hunger, vibe, etc off their first album.
Secondly, you say “get a pass” as if Nas hasn’t dropped classic material since Illmatic

LUV the song…good for HIP HOP!!!
they can put it on HOT 97 site but she has the option to put it on her ‘personal’ blog! you wouldnt out a personal friend or coworker like that would ya? youve already read it somewhere so why come here and expect the repetitiveness of it all? besides i dont really see any breaking news stories like that on here regardless of who it is, i just come for the music.
