True but i don’t think he is capable of writing a classic album. Even if he gets the best producers. I saw a interview did a while ago and they asked him about his writing process. He said he doesn’t do the metaphors and punchlines shit because he doesn’t have time for it. Then he went on to say he writes about his life and the struggles he been through like every other typical gangsta rapper (sigh). I give him credit for sticking to his strengths. But hip hop about artistic growth not just always “keeping it real’. This is the reason why i think he has alot hit and miss songs. If he doesn’t surprise the fan soon with upcoming material he going to fall off that tight rope you were speaking of. People was criticizing Rakim for having on the album and i can understand why. It is like you don’t care for art of writing down lyricaly lyrics but then you do the hook for a legend such as Rakim which is the greatest mc all time? I don’t get it …anyways this is a good song by Maino
