On the heels of announcing he’ll be releasing a five track EP with Jay-Z that will be titled Watch The Throne here’s the 1st release under Kanye’s new G.O.O.D Music Fridays “Monster” which originally leaked as a snippet featuring Rick Ross. The full version which ‘Ye just unleased features a heavyweight lineup of Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Bon Iver & Nicki Minaj.
This is the 2nd release from the Kanye West x Jay-Z EP, the first being the “Power” (Remix)

GLC spoke with MTV News about the new Fridays his best friend, mentor and boss created.
“I would definitely be a part of that, because I’m still Getting Out Our Dreams,” GLC said earlier this week in New York. “Church! I think it’s a beautiful concept, because I’ve been doing that for the last two years on the Internet. Prior to me signing my deal with EMI, I had five or six different offers from labels. And with EMI, to be the first artist they did a deal with that doesn’t have a distribution history, man, it works.

Clearly Friday Nights will be str8 pay-per-view status for the reminder of 2010. Not just because of “G.O.O.D Friday’s” but we know Hip Hop is a “monkey see monkey do” game now so I’m expecting other camps to start dropping weekend jewels just to keep up with the Jones so to speak.(wishful thinking maybe)

Monster is amazing lol =)… hov was hov, his verses imo get better and better every track, I hear him on. Ye when he is active and focused, is just on another level when it comes to this rap stuff and nicki? I always been a fan of her, and whether you like her or not, she held her own on this track. Personally I think, she killed it and had the best verse! Yes I did just say that haha…. o yeah can’t forget about ross, he did his thing as well.

Was supremely disappointed with the verses from all de boy dem – especially after seeing those names lined up on ONE track.
They could and SHOULD have really brought the heavy weight lyricism to this and they FLATLINED.
Not a fan of her and her pop’ifying the game, but DAMN, only one who made the track audible was Nicki – sista brought straight up boxing gloves full of nails and glass to the the yard G.
Now if Nicki’s murkin Ye and Hov on a track – & we know the genius they both capable of – then you can’t deny they lyrically slept on this track.

Someone raised an interesting point about Kim’s verse in The Benjamin’s…difference is, I STILL remember Kim’s verse line by line 25 years later, hahahaha and I doubt I’ll remember what Nicki said in “Monster” in the next 5 minutes. Nicki is exciting but we’re waiting for her to drop the classics. Kim’s verse in the Benjamins PWNS Nicki’s verse in Monster..no comparison.
