I hate to say this… cause I like both them dudes (no homo) and I think they got crazy talent but ever since that “Who Dat Freestyle” I feel like Joell Ortiz is going at J.Cole… @Miss.Info tell me I am wrong cause I want them to collabo… not battle.
—
Miss.Info have you heard Lupe Fiasco – BMF (Building Minds Faster) This dude is the Truth definitely one of the elites when it comes to lyrics… listen for the “Moon keepers” line cause he goes in deep (pause) http://bit.ly/LupeBMF
Let me go off topic…

No Joell, NY rappers don’t need to “just rap”. They need to learn how to make cohesive and original albums again. There are plenty of New Yorkers who can rap, but not many new guys that know how to make an album.

or rhyme something worth hearing.
that’s why I never cared for these run-of-the-mill, lame freestyles.
Learn to make songs. Spit bars that actually have something interesting in them. Drop the monotone flows.
I’m sounding like an old man but this shit used to be BASIC in hip hop.
