Yay! I like this….as we discussed in that previous post, you can stream before deciding to click.
New Music: Ghostface feat. Raheem DeVaughn “Baby” (CDQ/Dirty)
From the upcoming Wizard of Poetry album, 9/29
BONUS: do you think its weird to add on other new music that is non-Ghost related? I dont really want to add another post for an Amerie track…but what do you guys think….too random?
New Music: Amerie featuring a bunch o people Nas (who is right now in the hospital waiting for his new baby boy. Congrats to Kelis and Nas, regardless of their dynamic), Jadakiss, Rick Ross, and Cain (is that Paul Cain? Fab’s bro?) “Why R U” (Remix)

If you have a post with new music containing multiple artists, perhaps you could mention all of them in the headline. ie: missinfo NEW MUSIC – Ghostface f. Raheem Devaughn “Baby”, Amerie “Why R U Remix”, etc. Just a suggestion?

I’ve been holding opinion on this whole Ghost/R&B fuckery, but now I see the caliber. Takin it back to the way it’s supposed to be, emcees are not supposed to get flamed by rappin/sangin-ass jerks.
**Plies although a rapper should make note as well**
Yo check the funny- Big Doe Rehab is kinda like a garbage deal to me. I work w/the troubled youth an all that. This one knowitall cat was like Ghost this, Ghost that etc… something just told me to ask it and see. Sure enough, this cat NEVER heard Supreme Clntl!!! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN??? Out of reflex I almost told that kid to go fuck himself “But the God said chill…”
Kids…what are ya gonna do?

Tastes like Hypocrisy from Nas w/that Kobe/Vanessa line, especially after that ‘These are our Heroes’ joint!!

I’m with Nightfall. What’s up with raheem and the auto tune. That shit is wack, cause he can actually sing.
I would say the same thing about the Amerie joint. Everybody sounded cool, except for Amerie. That is one of the worst written songs ever. They need to cut out her part and just keep it as a rap joint.

However, I do believe that when posting new music, having separate posts for unrelated artists makes the most sense.

miss info you need to get back to your original way of posting music! i loved how you used to find those “rare” pics of whoever’s music you were about to post… looking at the pic makes you want to listen to their music even more and it kinda gives you that EXCLUSIVE vibe to the song…!

100% Agreement. Even if I pass on the song the image sometimes makes it worth it anyway.
Just promise us no huge overbearing cartoon watermarks in the middle of the pic.

I don’t even think the autotune sounds bad on this track. I think half of you people are saying it’s bad now because someone told you too. Granted I do hate autotune 90% of the time though.

I agree with info Supreme and Ironman are no brainers instant classics I also look at Cubin Link as a Ghost & Raekwon Collabo Album more then just a Rae solo album because it was the interplay with the two of them that made that album so great so you can’t ever forget Only Built For Cuban Links. My personal favorite though is Fishscale it’s soooo slept on. I mean c’mon joints like Shakey Dog, Kilo, R.AG.U.! that track is like a missing Cuban link track its sooo good. Long story short there’s just two many great one’s to pick just one as for this new material, I’m not loving it but I’m sure the album won’t disappoint.

I wonder if that track was produced by Tumblin’ Dice, cause he usually starts his tracks of like that….well at least the ones from Rampage The Last Boy Scout

Supreme is easily better than Ironman.
“Mighty Healthy & “Apollo Kids” in particular made me go…. “OH! Now I understand where Ghost is coming from.”
The whole album is really incredible. “Child’s Play” is sweet but rugged at the same time. I dare anyone to listen to “One” without actually saying “One”, even subconsciously. “Stroke of Death” is artistically out there but actually brilliant. “Wu Banga 101″ has one of GZA’s best verses, etc.
—with that said, I think the beat to “Baby” is super dope! One of the best I’ve heard recently from hip hop period (I’m a sucker for good piano beats). But the chorus is one of the worst choruses I’ve ever heard. Terrible terrible use of autotune here.
Ms Info, can you please tell Ghost to remove that autotune shit? It’s not a knee-jerk hate for autotune (although I was never a fan), but this is just bad. If he MUST use autotune (which he doesn’t), make it subtle like Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” chorus.

Raheem is definitely one of my favorite singers out rite now…sounds good on this track! Has anyone heard that song On The Ocean by K’Jon…sounds like some of Raheem’s older stuff. Check out his music @ http://www.myspace.com/whoiskjon

Man I’m disappointed in Raheem like he was my son and I was going to bail him outta jail. That’s that bull S (as Poppa Joe would say).
I also agree that you should peel back and do the photos with the music. Sometimes I come in here in a hurry and be on some ole Colin Powell “I’m not reading all that, this is bullsh*t” tip. But the photos will stop a Black man in his tracks and make me do the MC Lyte: Stop… Look… Listen.
