Yessir! The Roc is back in the building (sorta)! The State P boys, Bleek and Pain In Da Ass reunited for a new track in support of their concert in NYC. Tomorrow night, the guys are set to take the stage together at the Grammercy theater for one special night. But before it goes down listen to “Roc Reloaded” (prod. by Jake One). I mean they got Pain In Da Ass, yall.
Listen to the song after the jump…
This is the second leak off Freeway’s 7 track EP “Black Santa” set to drop on December 24th.

That shit felt good to hear, took me back to when The ROC was on top. That beat was mean, wish Beans could of been on that.

Interesting track…I downloaded a few tracks off of Free’s album on this past weekend and off of listening to them and this one, will probably just go ahead and buy and the album. Interesting to hear Peedi mention Jay in a song without dissing him. Obviously….he got over whatever bitter feelings he had towards him.

Good stuff! Man, this is the first time I haven’t been disappointed that these dudes haven’t moved on from their Roc moment.

damn…this could be the missing link to all of their approaches to the game…hope something comes out of this, such as a comp album or mixtape…might even gain Jay’s attention to reinvest again who knows…and if it does happen, I credit Freeway cux throughout all the years, not only has he been the most consistent, he has been the best one in how he handled his own situations once the Roc was split…let’s get it

When I pressed play, I really wasn’t sure what I was expecting to hear. What I heard wasn’t great nor bad, but it managed to put a smile on my face. I was not a huge fan of this group of guys individually, but I really enjoyed them as a group.
They were never strong enough to carry a song or a series of songs individually. Instead they were mere role players and a testament of that is how well albums like Roc La Famila and other notable collaborations still hold up almost a decade later. Also is a testament to their failures that they didn’t managed to adapt and grow. And some of them are still holding to the old days, but many rappers are guilty of that, So i really don’t hold it against them. They are all one trick ponies and I feel I shouldn’t judge them for who they are not, so I will just appreciate them for who they are….even they they are not that good.

lol @ Peedi tryna still live off the “Roc” glory! He burned his bridge with Jay probably even more than Beans did! Dude almost sounded like a pyscho ex girlfriend when shit started to go sour at the Roc!
