That’s a Classic Break Beat called “Big Beat” by Billy Squier. Dizzee was far from the 1st to rap over that beat..hahaha….How old are you??

If u listen closely it sounds like the same sample lil Wayne’s cannon remix which is sampled from “together brothers” by Barry white it’s chopped differently but it sounds like the same sample

this drake joint goes hard man….i’m getting a feeling that his album is gonna be a mix between his last 2 official Mixtapes (“so far gone” and “comeback season”) beat-wise, but its definitely gonna have to be judged as a complete piece of work, with the singles a LOT more straightforward. The full album is gonna tell a story.
I say that because the verse from “Fireworks” was a lot more personal than “Over” or this verse on “Miss Me” (they feel more like hype records if you listen to how he’s rapping).
It’s funny cuz every time I listened to so far gone I skipped over “Best I Ever Had” after a while…it felt to much like a single and got old fast, but that ends up being the main reason why he blows up. pause. Mainstream loved it, but other rappers and fans of rap were feeling “Successful” a lot more…
Its gonna be a good album regardless, but it really should be judged as a sophomore album since everybody and their moms has heard so far gone front to back.
