What do we have here? Earlier tonight a project dubbed No I.D. Presents: Cocaine 80′s – The Pursuit EP dropped online. The Cocaine 80′s collectiveconsists of No I.D., Common, Steve Wyreman, Rob Kinelski, Kevin Randolph, James Fauntleroy, Makeba and more. Here’s one of the songs off the project that features Common over some production from No I.D.

Travis Porter gives us two new singles for the radio station and for the streets at the same time. Both will appear on their upcoming yet-to-be titled new album. (Props to Kingz/YK2)
New Music: Jay Rock feat. Kendrick Lamar – “Hood Gone Love It” (prod. by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League)
Jay Rock is set to finally release his debut album Follow Me Home on July 26th. For his latest single, he hooks up with Kendrick Lamar over production from J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. (Props to TDE)
New Music: Lil’ B feat. Mack Maine – “Ass On Deck”
Until we get Lil’ B’s collabo with Lil’ Wayne, I guess we can call this a preview as the Based God hooks up with Young Money’s President. (Props to KC)
New Music: Jim Jones feat. Hardluck, Lady H & HIM – “What’s Your BBM”
That’s how us men get at ladies now? No more numbers, just straight ask for the BBM. That’s what Capo’s doing on his latest with the rest of Byrdgang. (Props to OnSMASH)

common track is aight. Some nice lines in there no doubt. But not stellar.
I guess in a hiphop-starved world the Com track is fire, even though it really isn’t.

updated months later … i got cocaine 80′s … and it’s amazing ! i think i played it on repete at work for like 6-7 hours , and it really is crack ( pun intended). i wanna hear a full length lp ..
