This song is FIYA! (Yes I had to spell it like that lol). Beside maino fucking it up it is pretty kool.
Rappers shouldn’t and can’t rap on every damn R&B they like. Imagine you chilling with a lady friend ,girlfriend or whatever. Then suddenly a rapper kills the mood with his rambling/babbling ass….LAAAME!
This album sounding pretty good so far. The first two single are stong potenial classics

I think that’s what killed lil jon’s career. Back when lover’s and friends first came out, so many people were loving the song and then his verse came up and it was an immediate turn off. He hasn’t had much success since.
I prefer my traditional RnB sans rap verse. They just don’t blend well

LOVERS and FRIENDS was the ISH!!! til this day i wish there was a video minus lil jon!! LOVE this A. Keys song, remix not so much maybe with TI or Jada maybe! the hater blogs was saying this was a subliminal jab at Mashonda, where they get it from I have no idea after listening to the song a million times. where do i sign up to become and anonymous hater when deep down inside i love the artists, but I collect a check a la the bloggers? not you of course Info, just hoping you can steer me in the right direction…LOL

Damn I couldn’t wait to hear someone spit on this track but I really wanted it to be Ghost Face that dude says some of the most outlandish shit on good RnB tracks or just in general really, and I feel like he would’ve done it perfectly. My second option was Mos-Def thought he could’ve killed this as well both rapping and or singing along with Alicia that would’ve been fire as well. Maino did an ok job though he doesn’t really improve the song but he doesn’t hurt it either so I guess the remix is a push just as hot as the original.

Damnit again, shit! Crooked I can rap his ass off. I always seem to look over him when considering some of the best in hip-hop today but he always quickly reminds me not to make that mistake. Love the Dre tribute, there are not to many songs where rappers check there own egos and pay homage to the greats in the game, or tip there cap in general to there peers in music. So this song is great for hip-hop hope to see more of that sentiment. Love Dre but my personal favorites are Dilla, Q-Tip, Madlib, 9th Wonder, and, RZA, Organized Noise as far as producers go.

There is def. a lot of truth to it.. I don’t think he started off as Mason but he is def part of the Illuminati because there is no way he should continue to rap the same content at the age his is…it’s reinforcing so many sterotyoes then doing positive things for the community… but that’s just my opinion

Me and you both missInfo love that Alicia fire but, I have to say Maino didn’t do much to enhance the song I like the original better. I don’t think it should’ve had a rapper on it sorry. I have to say I love the Crook I and Marsha song west coast vibe I’m feeling it I miss that. Oh and Marsha needs to have an album drop and have Dre. produce it.
