Tonite, the big homie Funkmaster Flex debuted a new song by 50 Cent called “Baby By Me,” and YouHeardThatNew posted the radio rip….

I always found that line from “I Get Money,” hilarious, but it almost sounds b-more bounce-ish in the beginning of this song. Not sure who is singing though. The song is produced by Polow da Don, with Neyo on vocals. What do you guys think? (Thisis50 has 2 versions posted)

Now while Flex was playing the new song, Fif was down at Howard University with his “50th Law of Power” co-author Robert Greene to talk about the book…and reveals that his shattered TV was all a publicity stunt. (um, ok)

Here, 50 talks about artists who don’t have the life experiences to back up their lyrics…and uses Lil Wayne as an example of this. I don’t know if I’d go so far as to call it a Lil Wayne diss, because it’s the audience who throws Weezy’s name into it, but it was an alley-oop that Fif was more than happy to slam dunk. Wish there was a 3rd verse or he adds somebody for a tight rmx maybe Ghost, Fab somebody not sure what would work but the track is dope…

The track with Neyo is the remix.. he also has an original which to me sounds better but im not sure who the feat. artist of that version is.

Track is tight.
People didn’t expect it from 50, but it’s time he adopt and merge somewhat to the new sound out there and make it work.
Yeah he coulda do CAndy Shop type but that sound seem to be gone now and this is where it fits, ugh, but it’s working.
The label likely warranted this type of song to give him a firm release date. If he shoots a vid with Neo it will confirmed the label plan.

Been a moderate fif fan from the beginning..this track aint doin it for me…
The beat is missing something..and ..it just doesnt have that energy honestly.. Im really pushing for fif but…not so sure the A n Rs know what to listen for for the big homie…im still confused…Fif should have no problem getting amazing material from the likes of Dre, Khalil, whomever…these records just aren’t cutting it..When I hear ‘What up Gangsta’, 21 Questions, Gunz Come Out, I get goosebumps..the latest material…that feeling not happening…”Ok You’re Right’ was a step in the right energy, same with ‘I Get It In’ …guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens

It gets worse and worse with every song this dude was supposed to have an album out forever ago then was supposed to drop with Hov and piggy back some of Hov’s heat like he tried to do with Yea few years before. Sept 11th is around the corner and still no album Fif is having some real trouble generating the kind of buzz and heat he used too and musically it’s been nothing but steady decline since get rich or die trying, I’m glad at least he’s finally realized his nonstop studio beefs that he makes up for every album is no longer going to create buzz and sell records for him anymore the people have finally smartened up and see right through his ploy so now he’s just left with the task of trying to sell music because of music and the dude just doesn’t look up for the task. Dare I say it could 50 be done, will this guy ever recover from the one two combo Ye gave em crushed em with Graduation then after Fif talked all that shit about how 808’s wont work Ye put him on his ass musically again with another successful album was I Get Money just the last twitch of a dieing carer, who knows for sure but one thing I do know is that it’s not looking good hommie when your the caliber of rapper that 50 was it’s not a good look when your internet comedy skits get more hits then your music but hey maybe it’s a segway to a new carer cause lately rapping aint it dude.

JAY-Z has no buzz no one cares he is finished. his album was terrible i bought it and it was a waste of my money. flight 187 is a better song then anything jayz has out.

It’s a hot song but as far as realism in rap if he points the finger at lil wayne exaggerating he should also look in the mirror, he chants of weed smoking and drinking in almost every song, but admits he isn’t do either in interviews, also boasts about women in clubs, yet don’t do clubs either, says he’s happily single but those Ciara rumors have been poppin from mysterious sources for years, I think the common fan knows not to talk any song literally
