Ciph and Eminem had a chat on Shade 45 the other day. I think Em’s in a challenging and totally new place in his career with an uphill battle ahead. I’m rooting for him.

When i first heard this song, i couldnt stop laughing- not because it was funny- but because of how bad it was. Easily the worst Em verse of his Career- King Mathers will be a classic tho.

I think that Eminem smashed it with several of the verses on The Re-Up, which was only a year ago. Throwaway verses happen to everyone, but E will still body anyone spitting on a track, including Wayne, Kanye, Lupe…etc.
With ringtone rap still the best selling stuff, and artists who used to move 5-6 mil now moving 500-600K, Eminem can sit back and eat off the reported $19,000,000 he earned in 2007 with no album to speak of.
At the risk of making this comment too long; anyone who thinks Slim Shady is coming back is going to be disappointed. The guy who used to spit like “met a retarded kid named greg with a wooden leg, snatched it off and beat him over the head with the peg” isn’t coming back. He doesn’t take painkillers by the handful anymore, and he isn’t a broke dude asking for respect. He is a multi-millionaire mogul just like 50, Hov and Diddy. Jay-Z can’t give us Reasonable Doubt anymore, and people are mad at him because he has a millionaire mindstate. 50 is accused of falling off, but he got rich and doesn’t have to die trying.
I am predicting that people won’t feel Eminem’s next album like they used to feel his old stuff, regardless of its lyrical excellence. Remember young ones, 1998 was a loooong time ago.

em is the nastiest rapper next to jay z THAT CAN LYRICALLY SPIT. ALL THESE RAPPERS OUT NOW R GARBAGE. em old shit (eminem show, mmlp, slim shadylp) nobody can even see. his lastest album encor was basura except for a couple of joints. but lyrically em is still untouchable.

Em is the shit, he is one of the best rappers of all time, and he is one of the best rappers alive. Every song he appears on with other rappers he bodys man. He killed Jay on Renegade, Smashed D Block on Welcome to D Block, Smashed 50 on Patiently Waiting, Dre and Snoop on Bitch Please 2, etc. He is nasty as fuck. But I dont see how he has an uphill battle ahead of him Miss Info? He dropped a mixtape, a mixtape, that got no promotion at all, had 1 single that got no play on any radio station, got no video play from BET at all, didnt see it even debut on 106 and Park, it was played on MTV and shit alittle, but he only did 1 single with no promotion and yet it still sold 309k first week and sold 2.3 mill worldwide. Just to show you take the Games album, all the buzz and hype he had about can he make an album that is hot and sells with no Dre beat and no 50 hooks, Game had so much buzz and he only sold 1.4 mill worldwide, and Ems mixtape did 2.3 mill and came out a month after Games, plus Game had 3 singles and Em had 1, yet Em’s shit still smashed him. And Em was only on what 7 tracks on the album. So the point is, yeah I hope he goes back to that MMLP and Em Show shit, he does have alot to talk about, Proof, the Kim shit, his drug problems, depression etc, he is so personal, so I hope the album is hot, but no matter what, he will sell more than anyone, his fanbase outside the US is bigger than any other rapper in history, case in point he has sold 70 mill worldwide, only Pac has sold more, and how many more albums does Pac have? So when he drops he will sell a shitload. So he dont have no uphill battle in front of him, no matter what he drops he will sell all over the world.

yes i get the point m and m (how candy pop is that name!)is good but how many of those albums would he have sold if he was white or dead, most of the best rappers all time will never sell half of the sales your taking about and iam talking about the likes of rakim,krs one etc etc
so lets not base this on pure sales how about the fact he can put his foot down on almost any one on his day in a battle
