I love SP… he is truly one of the realest to ever do it AND he was a steady supplier of workout music for years.
But I almost expect better from him.. He has all the time in the world to come up with good music. Is not like anyone is waiting for it. He is not going to pop like they did in their late badboys and early RR days.
He should have a higher sense of quality control. When a SP songs comes out should be an event….. But I don’t feel anything special from this freestyles NOR any of his news songs. He’s emotion and passion to spit bars is long gone. Either that or he just doesn’t connect with me anymore.

Am I the only one that thinks SP had magic with Pharoah Monch? They share a magic similar to Krit & Yelawolf’s… IMHO, a 5 song Ep/duet mixtape with Monch (like Bad Vs. Evil) could bring back the spark, be an indie hit. I mentioned on here before that marketing the ’students’ of Kool G. Rap might be a challenge in these funny times…

Nah, you misunderstood chief. Meant acknowledging chemistry…magical pairings across older and newer generations …not comparing any rappers. Monch + SP, Krit + Yela, have chemistry when they rhyme together. Outside of Jada, a Monch and SP duet project would be dope to ME.
