New G-Unit music: “Get Down” produced by Swizz Beats and “Straight outta Southside
Posted by Miss Info under exclusives , good for hip hop , good for me , new music , things I like[34] Comments
I remember around this time last year….when folks were saying 50 was icicles. And then this lil’ ditty called “I Get Money” came out…..this new chune ain’t that one, but it’s a totally different edgier sound for the Southside boys, and I likey!
Lowkey and Splash hit me after hearing the Finisher Mr. Cee debut this track on his Friday Night Live show tonite. So they get the credit for calling first dibs : )
G-Unit “Get Down” produced by Swizz Beats
Now this other song is more familiar terrain for 50, Banks and Yayo, but its still hard, and I prefer brittle angry gristle G-unit to any smoothed out dulcolax variations.

G UNIT is done….. the bread has changed 50. He was hot back in the day when Queens was holding him down before the HGH.
I still respect him, just not as a rappppper.

This is 2008 the music they bring out is so 2001 and 2004. Ruff ryders is no more 50 destroyed murder inc dipset and dblock single handedly so theyre the only new york crew out there for the summer. We need variety. I like g unit theyre the best but the last thing they need is An album from 50. Yo info did you catch yayo and banks on 106 it was really awkward.

I don’t like the swizz beats joint but the straight out of South Side joint is hot. I can’t front these guys are really trying to keep themselves relivent. I was wondering is it me or does anyone else notice that Interscope isn’t promoting the TOS album.

I like them both , but please,50,if you’re going to make a video, film it in an actual location with real people, no more of these videos filmed in your backyard or all green screen, hey, how about actually filming it in Queens?

Straight Outta Southside is HARD
that swiss beats song is weak tho
maybe swiss’ style just doesnt mix well with
50 n them
swiiss could have got them a better beat
he keep usin them same old ass drums
n they just dont work for every artist

“Straight Outta Southside” is fire the Swizzy is not so hot it should be like an interlude before a dop track drops like like “Hollow thru em”
If the leaked album is Lil Wayne’s project then the Unit would probably have a better album coz those joints are weak only 2 or 3 bangers.
1.A Milli- i like the D-Block version
2.Mr Carter-Jay killed it”made so much money in the rap game, your go!”
3.Nothin on me-Juelz we need that album!

His rap was career was on life support before I Get Money came out, but it went back to code blue and this isn’t helping at all.

“Straight Outta Southside” is pure adrenaline. Funkmaster Flex played it on Thursday night and as if it even needed any more energy, he brought it back to the top quite a few times, dropped several bombs on it and then twice declared, “This is the hardest record out.”
Knowing he had a gem in his hands, for DJs willing to cosign anything, he had this to say, “This is the difference between me and these other DJs. I know what to put on. I know what to stand up for.”
Classic Funkmaster Flex + Classic G-Unit = A Good Time

These songs is trash i miss the old 50 i mean power of the dollar old banks is the only decent one left other than 40 glocc, spider loc and hot rod but they dont promote them enough but bottom line they fell off.
