Nas Talks Status Of The Lost Tapes 2, Working w/ Frank Ocean, Common At The White House & More…
Posted by Mr.North under interview[2] Comments
In his continued Extended Play sitdown with Sway of MTV, Nas gives an update the oft-delayed Lost Tapes 2 album. For now the project has been pushed back indefinitely due to Def Jam’s hold up, when Esco wanted to drop it the label wasn’t ready so now his focus is on his new solo album.
Props to MTV
Nas touches on his new album, working with No I.D. and Odd Future’s Frank Ocean (says they worked on a few tracks nothing complete yet), and Common’s appearance at the White House causing unnecessary controversy from Fox News…

damn , i be Jones’en for a new nas ( like the pun ?) , but it sounds like , i dunno , as a fan , what i want is him on some preemo , pete rock joints. word up , but he sounds like he’s past that , and i can understand 100% , but , as a diehard Nas fan , a dude who’s argued at barber shops , who’s spent real life money on his albums , been to his shows , i want what i want as more then a fan but as a CONSUMER . i want to pay for them 3 preemo songs , that 1-2 pete rock joints. but then again , no i.d. is no sloutch. if they make the right connection , and Nas bring his A game lyrically , it’s gonna be dope regardless. maybe in 2014 , he’ll do it ..lol one can only hope. #Nas gimmie some preemo / pete rock tracks !~
