I’m gonna add some more video of N.E.R.D. and Nas from tonite’s Smirnoff party….but let’s deal with this first.

There’s a lot of talk on the internets about Mrs. Kelis Jones, speculating that she stars in a previously unreleased adulterous sex tape that’s now being sold for $150,000. Hopefully that’s not the case. But either way, true or false….Nas made his stance on the rumors very clear at the Smirnoff Experience/Cornerstone party at Capitale in Chinatown, NYC.

Nas jumped on stage at the end of N.E.R.D.’s set, and performed songs off his untitled album, before going into his classics. Then he started “If I Ruled the World,” and said, “Give it up for my wife, Kelis!”

Kelis then sang Lauryn Hill’s hook and when the song was over, the couple shared a kiss and Nas went on to give his wife props, saying “I’m her biggest fan,” and even firing shots at her “imposters.”

Do you think this duet was a defiant response to sex tape rumors or separation rumors? Or do you think that the busy couple even know about the rumors?

I kind of think they do know about the rumors, and I’m actually not surprised by Nas’ reaction. They’re a very well-matched couple.
