It was a celebration for a hip-hop legend on Friday night, as many made their way to the Brooklyn Bowl in New York City for Slick Rick’s 50th birthday bash. Among the many in attendance to tribute Rick the Ruler was Nas, who presented Slick Rick with a large cake shaped as a crown. The two MCs, known as rap’s greatest storytellers, would perform the classic 1988 record “Children’s Story.” “HAPPY BDAY SLICK RICK THE RULER!!!!!!!!,” posted Nas on Instagram, seen wearing Rick’s trademark multiple big chains.
