i was kinda frustrated with Nigger, and the same frustrations show up with this song. Nas had such great ideas, but he didn’t deliver when it came time to bring em to fruition. maybe its enough that someone is even making these songs, but like, i was looking forward to really hearin some knowledge on this track.. seems like dudes havin trouble writting…

This was supposed to be on “Untitled”, at least it was on a very early tracklist. Not really feeling it, I can understand why it was left off.

u niggas bloggin are missing the point.I dont understand what this game is about any more.unless theres some sort of dance or gimmick ppl dont feel shit.I think this trk is a wake up call for niggas forgot that hiphop is a street thing.
I like this and want to hear more, i miss the days when beats were more like this and less like what everybody wants.its the same for the fif/premiere trk, im glad the mainstream artists are taking shit back to how it should be.

Fact Check…….the name of the leaked song is wrong…it was supposed to be called “The Fear of The Black Man’s Dick” NOT “Fear of Mandingo”. Also, it’s NOT NEW, it was recorded for the “Untitled” album but didn’t make the cut…as you can hear its not even finished or mastered. The track is a throw away that was meant to remain unreleased but was leaked by who knows who? I’m the hugest Nas fan and I hate when a track comes out that wasn’t meant to be and people judge it like the artist intended for it to go out like that. Green lantern is a ill producer and you can tell the beat is unfinished. Sort of how the last 2 unfinished records that leaked from Eminem’s camp…the difference is that Em has an album on the way that those songs may potentially be on where on the other hand Nas’ album dropped last year and this isn’t intended for an official release. As you can tell from the content it followed the theme of the “Untitled” aka “Nigger” album. The lyrics are real and thoughtful and he sums it up in the last verse “color shouldn’t matter with relations / color shouldn’t matter with life and love / cuz color never matters under the covers when the lights are off”…..and all some niggas see is a name that DJ 36 Degrees decided he wanted to name a song he wasn’t supposed to have?? Nas didn’t say the word “Mandingo” not even once in this song so you do the math. Furthermore, read a book niggas, everything he spit on this shit was factual but you’d rather he made snap music and ringtone bullshit. Haven’t ya’ll had enough of that shit? Nas doesn’t spit what happens to be popular or what sells for the moment. Check Lil’ Wayne and them for that.

Some people are so quick to judge the song…talking about Nas must be struggling with writing, negro please…Nas is the GOAT! To the person quoting that old ass Jay-z line grow up and move on! I agree with #10&11! Some people are to dumb to understand anything or even have a rational thought!!!!

People who dont know nas and dont know TRUE hip hop have no clue what they are listening to, if they did, then even though this track is obviously not finished and uncut, its still hot and drops bombs on the crap you hear on the radio. Yall are brainwashed to this crap they call hip hop these days. True hip hop? hit the underground or go back to the early 90’s thats true hip hop. Nas is still making killa music but those of you who think its junk need to be slapped in the face with true hip hop. Lil wayne, jeezy, lil john and all them fools aint hip hop! Do your homework!
